We probably need one after every loss but I wouldn't want to take up bandwidth and space.

It is definitely hinging on lots of things and not just focus and effort.

Chris Paul is not walking thru that door again.

The observation was that at least in home games they are more competitive overall.

Eric "I'm going to dribble on my foot" Gordon needs to handle the ball with Jalen Green.

I love EG and what he has done, but the word ball handler and Gordon should not exist in the same sentence. He's been fumbling the ball since the Harden days on a regular basis

Can you compare that to the guys that Silas said he has to play with him like Nix and Gordon? lol

Silas is seriously the worst coach in NBA history. Plays Gordon, Mathews, and Nix a combined 60 minutes last night and Bruno, Christopher, and Garuba a combined total of 20 minutes. WHAT A FREAKING MORON OF A COACH!!!!!!!

Game started 13-2 and we was as down by as many as 36. Yet y’all be crying about minutes and looking at box scores and not the actual game

OK I'm not going to watch the video because i might blow a gasket, if it was filmed BEFORE he was our coach that is OK. But if it was filmed as coach of the rockets he should be terminated immediately for wearing a mavs Hoodie. I'm serious. Not sure how we can prove the actual date of filming other than the upload date. This would mean he is in fact a mole for Mark Cuban and here to spy on us. I can't watch.

Silas was meant to be a high school girls basketball coach. That would be his true calling. He's only in the big leagues because of his famous daddy. Why did guy get to jump the line to straight to being an NBA lead assistant instead of working his way up the real coaching ladder. He got to skip the line because his daddy was a great hooper, not because of anything he did himself.

might want to check how many years he spent as a scout before actually getting into coaching. skipping the line is fake news. he worked his way through a number of organizations and he definitively has jumped around including internationally to get where he is now

I guess you’re saying Silas is great because he cut a 36 point deficit to 20 by playing useless EG and Nix??????

I never want to see the lineup of Nix, Gordon, Martin, Eason and Garuba again.... I love the frontcourt but you need to have either green or KPJ with them on the floor (or put Sengun in there instead of Garuba).

I think you always need one of KPJ, Green and Sengun on the floor. Otherwise we really have no offensive firepower.

I’m coming around to the idea that it is time to go ahead and relieve him of his duties. It would send a clear message to the team about how Stone and Tillman value accountability. That you cannot allow players to constantly break out of schemes on offense and have no defensive accountability.

They don’t need to hire Thibs or anything but they do need an empowered voice who has the respect of the players. It’s clear to me that the players view Silas as a guy they can walk all over. Great guy and as JVG said “If you don’t like Stephen Silas, you are the jerk”, but that doesn’t make you an effective NBA coach.

Let Hollins finish the season as the interim, and start background discussions about interviewing Quinn Snyder and a few others this summer.

You don't want to be the sucker that gives him his first real gig if he turns out to be a dud.

Maybe he is just really great at assisting and that would be his true calling....

he won't be the first. he won't be the last. nobody truly knows how he is anyway when he doesn't even have a relevant team to begin with. A coach is only as good as the players he has. That's always been the case and will be going forward. like i said you can hire the best coach out there and this extreme youth and inexperienced team would still be bad.

It seems Silas will complete this season (Because they see him as a tank commander), but clearly will not start next year. I don't think any owner in NBA wants 4 years tanking. 3 is enough.

The danger of allowing young players with minimal vet leadership that have never tasted success to play out a season with a coach this passive is much higher than most realize. Culture is a thing. Spurs tanking with Pop is very different considering the level of success and discipline he instills. If we had vets that showcase workethic it would also be very different. We have none of that. Fire him now and start breeding a different culture.

    Sengun 15.5 pts 9.1 rebounds 2.3 assists 26.8 mins

    Mobley 15.0 pts 9.0 rebounds 2.3 assists 33.8 mins

Silas can’t play Sengun 30+ mins is committing crime. Seriously.
