Silas makes Kevin McHale look like Phil Jackson. I think Silas is by far the worst coach in the league right now.
It's not close. Not even because of the offense or the record or anything. He's taking away the positives that we're supposed to be looking for in the season. Young guys getting experience, learning to play together. Experimenting with what each player can excel in. Playing up to competition (The way Sengun did tonight before getting subbed out to never be seen again). Jabari has the mindset that a coach dreams of. But instead of building it, Silas seems determined to have the young guns minus KPJ and Jalen questions every decision, and never get comfortable with their minutes or their decisions. All the youngs seem scared to make a mistake and get pulled. It's sad.
I mean, at this point, he has to be fired. Silas has to be. Now, not end of the year. Other teams are noticing things that fans notice but our Head Coach refuses? He's holding back the growth of this team, maybe not in terms of individual progress, but chemistry, attitude, grit, he's the worst head coach for this group of young guys. (Maybe Thibidou but whatever) Please give us rockets fans something to get excited about, fire Silas and promote Abdelfattah or steal Chris Quinn from Miami.
I still want Ime Udoka, the former Celtics coach. We have the guys to play defense, but our defense is bad.
The difference is McHale became a coach for tryout. He took the GM job before that and was an analyst IIRC. Silas is full on convinced he can be a coach for life.
İt's obvious that jokic is paid by sof's to talk this way. What we need to do is give Silas more time (like a decade or smt) to collect all the picks until we have gathered enough talent and ruin most of them in process. We should root for the good guy and his big heart warming smile till the end of days.

BECAUSE alpi still didnt play 10 REAL NBA GAMES(30+ MINUTES) ??! FOR HIS CAREER I AM NOT EVEN TALKING ABOUT THIS SEASON but @AroundTheWorld advised me not to do so, so I am soooo not gonna do it... its better to keep my calm at all times and away from insults... Stephen Silas is our brother, this is all just a lot of fun and games of pretense anyway...
