He is……needs to pick up weight and be coached. Silas is a very bad head coach, but credit where credit’s due in that after about three months with a player he turns him into a star. Since this team ain’t gonna fire him, at least he’ll turn Smith into a decent player at some point.
Silas is the worst coach in the league. I am willing to see if another coach could get KPJ to play team ball before I give up on KPJ.
Every game, we play without Sengun in last 5 minutes, and every game we lose. But Silas continue to play without him again. How many years the worst coach Silas will be the Rockets coach? I really fed up.
I'm done with Silas. Instead of using the opportunity to develop his young players, he clearly tells Gordon he can just shoot from 35 feet whenever he wants. "It's your turn tonight to do whatever you want"
I think one of the things that stand out the most to me is that the players individually don't come across as dumb in interviews but somehow are the stupidest players to ever get on a basketball court. They do so much stupid **** in every single game, it's incredible. To me, that's on the coach. The talent is there and the young guys aren't stupid. They need guidance and accountability. Silas provides neither
These players are not good players boys. Nobody not named Victor is walking through that door to change that.
if you don't fire Silas now, everybody will keep being regressed. I don't think Stone even cares about that now.
No they're not. There's literally no evidence of this. None. The only one of these guys who will ever have a chance of making an all star team ever is green- and even he looks like **** mishandling ball after ball. They're not good. They miss open shots. When put in a position to succeed- they fail They are not good at basketball. FULL STOP REPLACE SILAS ALL YOU WANT - i don't care - but Smith is still a bust, Sengun isn't ready, Green is an inconsistent luxury player, - etc.. Talent level is not there
@SamFisher is always wrong, so him not understanding that this is on the coach is a good thing. Once we get a real coach, you will see that these players are better than they look now.
There was a reason Harden could do whatever he wanted on road games, missing film sessions, going to strip clubs. It took journalists and reporters to dig deeper into the story and the surroundings. Zero accountability. Not much urgency.
Maybe they win a couple games more. They look selfish and as long as there is no cohesiveness and togetherness instead of just chucking along the way this not a team.... period. I hope it's just Silas but it could be more, like immaturity or other issues. Replacing Silas is easier to handle than teaching young guys the right team oriented way to play.
