Unless you are paid by Morey or the Rockets, how don't see how you can disagree with him at this point. Unless some other major moves happen, we lost a lot of team chemistry this year, and will not be as good as last year. That is moving in the wrong direction when you have two superstars and one in his prime.
We got a pick out of one, but we also traded a future first so year...you're right. We basically handed out two players for free. The irony is that Dork Elvis had the price tag on Asik so high last season nobody could trade for him.
I've always backed him but today makes me wonder. But reaffirms my dislike for Les. He's starting to reach Bud Adams status. Take all that money with you Les. Take it all because I'm sure it's got value where your going.
Idk about this... we were literally one Chris Bosh "yes" away from absolute dominance next three years.. he put us in a perfect position for that.
Whenever you can let your 3rd best player go for nothing when you could have had him for less than a million bucks the next season, you obviously have to do it... I'm not on the "Fire Morey!" bandwagon, but this offseason was hilariously awful. He has some work to do, because honestly there is zero reason to get excited about this coming season.
I can't fault Morey. We almost had Bosh. You can't be mad, because what makes us LOVE Morey, is what makes us HATE him. I trust that he will land the big piece next year.
Time for Morey/the front office to start looking in the mirror. Morey is extremely overrated and has allowed himself to be punked repeatedly this off season, its ridiculous. Use to think highly of him but after the playoff fiasco this past season and him STILL holding on to McHale and now this pathetic off season, I don't have confidence in him at all at this point.
The rockets just said, according to Feign, that they don't think we would have a championship team even with Parsons so they will wait till the next FA round. Insanity is doing the same thing over despite the consequences. I don't think I've ever seen as big of an off season blunder as this one...and they want to go the same route again.
The Cubs were one Bartman interference away from going to the World Series. 2nd place doesn't mean a damn thing.
Im trying not to overreact either. and like i just posted....the Mavs and Pelicans get better with Parsons and Asik. Fiegen news of them not trying to lock the cap up "now" is even worse. I want to see Morey's conversation with Howard, when he tells him, "sorry, but we will try next summer."
