I know that the players on our team need to work on things about their over all games...hell who doesn't. BUT, coaching has been an issue with this freakn team for a while. Rudy T creates his offense around the his players and it should be the other way around. Just as he did with Hakeem, but there was a BIG difference.....Hakeem was one of the greatest centers of all time!
It's time for a coach who will implement an offense that our players will execute and do with motion, back picks, screens and heaven hopes................BALL MOVEMENT!

Last night was disgusting!! We had their centers in foul trouble, well Yao had them in foul trouble. George Karl had no choice but to go small ball because his big men were in foul trouble. What does Larry do? He takes Yao out and plays Karl's game! What an idiot! We should have set high picks with Yao at the key and let him float to the basket for easy baskets (or get Tony in foul trouble) It was a bone head decision to not kill them with Yao!

It's time to stop blaming the young talent on this team and hold some of this bad coaching going on responsible. I'm grateful for Rudy T, but I'm more grateful for #34 because he made it work. I'm tired....plain and simple. This is the last year I'm watching this mess.....We need real coaching, not another 20yr old from college, overseas or where ever they find these people.

Let's draft a Damn coach with our draft pick......hell Tampa Bay did.

    BUT

Man I so can see we get screwed by Larry Brown on Friday. Mean will send Hawk, Tmo, Norris to match up sixer small ball, and think he is a genius by doing that. Clog up the middle lane, let them shoot the damn jumper, Mean!!!!!!

The Nets have the 2nd-best home record in the NBA. How do you figure the Rockets 'should' have won there? The Bucks and Sonics are both fighting for a playoff spot. The Rockets, a terrible road team all year, 'should' have won on those teams' homecourts? The Rockets 'should' have won AT Portland, the #4 team in the West?

You just don't get it do you? We out-rebounded the Lakers in that game by 13[/b (43-30) and still lost the game. Go figure!

There is a saying that you reap what you sow. Our biggest problem started waaay back in the beggining of the season and it started with the dumb basketball Stevie, Mobley and RudyT subjected us to - throwing away games and spread bad basketball habits to their team mates. That whole negative energy is what this team is continously trying to escape. We still don't have a leader and a true star - just a bunch of overhyped players and a 7"5' soon to be great Chinese. We need soul searching and purging from the top to the least person on our team. We will still make the playoffs this year but that will not cure our problems in the long run save for a miracle (but I doubt if the myopic amongst us will ever get it).

Thank God for Yao Ming. There is still hope - just because of him.

Suns, a terrible road team, won at Pistons, the team with the best record in the East.

No wonder they are in the playoffs position and we are not.

Smith has shown he simply doesn't have the capability to be a head coach. R.T. has built some offense and defense patterns and those patterns started working in Rockets' 4 home wins. What Smith did is to break all these and the team is suffering. Smith doesn't understand the game is measured by points, not by how many teeth broken.
