Doesn't matter what we think or want. When Kubiak really warranted a firing, McNair decided to keep him. Now, I think the boldest change McNair would make would be firing Rick Dennison, or letting him go so he can be a HC somewhere.

I've been a huge Kubiak supporter because I think he is a brilliant offensive mind. With that said, I think he lacks the guts to be aggressive, which a coach needs to have at some point. He'll make a great offensive coordinator somewhere.

Kubes isn't going to get fired and Schaub will be our starting QB next year -- i'm just surprised the Pats didn't beat us worse.

Kubiak will not be fired, having 12-4 season just gave him another 2 years with the Texans

Special teams looked good today. McNair is impressed and signs Joe Marciano to an extension.

12-4 record, divisional champs, won a playoff game... c'mon guys. I know its not easy to be all that positive but can we at least be realistic?

seriously worried about him returning because they'll say it was personnel driven if manning could do it (and ignore what jacoby and holliday have done on ST elsewhere)

I think a lot of people are forgetting that Kubiak isn't on the field playing. Of course he is the scape goat but I personally think this is all on Schaub. Schaub needs to learn to audible at the line of scrimmage. QBs in today's game are the coach at the line of scrimmage.

I'm not saying everyone needs to be a Manning but for ****s sake, Schaub cannot read a defense to save his life. He will go with a running play that the coach called even if 11 guys are in the box. Any QB with a sense for the game would audible and hit the short pass for a TD. Schaub will take the sack.

Kubiak has his fair share of questionable play calls and etc but Schaub isn't taking us to the promise land no matter who is coaching the team.

No need to fire Kubes, unless the team collapses next year. It is time to draft and start developing a new QB. Schaub's not making plays, even when the play calling and the receivers are basically serving the play up on a silver platter.

This was his last year for him to win me over as a fan, and he still hasn't changed. Fire him!

fire? no. he does need to adapt to the new nfl, and run a faster paced offense, like we did when kyle was here, so a new offensive coordinator.

Or with the pull that bob mcnair has, ask the league to reinforce the rules that were taken away from the defensive backs, allowing them to engage after 5 yards. These 2 sound more realistic than firing kubiak and firing schaub.

    Bill Cowher is a retread?

Because you know as well as I do that if McNair fires Kubiak and we reach out to Cowher, he'd jump at the chance in a heartbeat.
