What is the resolution. . . .banning travel to Syria? or other Islamic nations? Religion, politics and Science have horrible records' The reality is someone wants the power to dictate to others and have their world . . . .or their goals Rocket River
Well people who leave the country to go fight a war with terrorists' should be forbidden ton enter the country and their passport should be taken away yes. Stop trying to bait when you clearly know what I'm saying... What kind of rational country "bans travel to Syria or other Islamic nations"? Your not leading to any interesting argument.
Yeah some people have the goal of freedom of speech and religion. Those crazy lunatics dictating to us!
They don't wear Labels I suspect there will be a war . . . . not sure when but it is coming Rocket River
Their passports do. Everything is electronic now, we can track movement. It's not hard to tell when a young Muslim European man has traveled to Syria and returned home. They should not be allowed to return to Europe.
That young Muslim European might have a mother back in Syria and just wants to visit her. You can't just bar Muslim citizens visiting their parent's homeland.
Who said that the young men traveling to Syria now are exclusively Syrian? If the ticket has been purchased in ways that are related to family, that's fine. Everything is tracked now. If there's a digital trail - Internet history of extremist sites, attendance at mosques known for preaching violent Islam, etc. and a disappearance off of the grid once on the ground in Syria - then there is cause. If the person traveling is not Syria and has no family in Syria, is that not a red flag? It's not exactly a vacation destination these days.
So, one of the perpetrators was in a French security database, convicted of funneling men into Syria for training under the guise of religious schooling and expressed interest in traveling to Syria himself in 2005. It's clear he wasn't visiting granny. Why were his movements, physical and digital, not monitored? I don't presume to know anything about the French security apparatus, but this guy was clearly a threat and a brief stint in prison wasn't going to mellow him out. This is the example I'm talking about when I talk about restricting travel. If you are a known threat to the state (especially if you've been jailed before) under charges of terrorism, you should have no freedom of movement. You should be barred from returning to the country if you've openly declared war on it.
because 'nobody was harmed and minimal damage'. Its right there in your article. NO wait , i think it might be racism mark. that's probably why. 'Open season on African AMericans' right? Hands up dont shoot!!!!
A Muslim police officer was killed in the attack http://www.buzzfeed.com/ryanhatesth...from-artists-in-response-to-the-ch#.jl0VB2y6L
Not really, these groups are murdering "fellow" Muslims all over the world so why would they care about one more?
He is posting this in this thread because the murders in Paris are inconvenient to him and his leftist friends. They prefer to point fingers at "the right" and they have entered an unholy alliance with Islamists, for whatever reason, jointly being against Israel. So he would like to deflect attention from yet another Islamist terrorist attack and rather direct attention towards something irrelevant to this that suits his personal political agenda better.
Or because it's not linked to the religion that has new bombings and killings every week? Ie- it's a one off affair. T-H-I-N-K
