Again da1 was out of line, ATW is a good knowledgable poster, but seeing you post your nonsense is so ironic. Guy that encourages burning places of worship, full of innocent people, talks about not feeling safe.

    Welcome to ignore.

we've get a sensationalist rhetorisist here, folks. and i'm well aware that isn't a word. a taste of their own medicine? was a question referring to the scriptures, and there were no further "IMPLICATIONS" or "ENCOURAGEMENTS TO ATTACK INNOCENT". no snarky statements either like the constant drivel from libtards. don't expect any better when the desperate have nothing left to cling to.

You see, you are using the term libtards which has as its root "r****d." Thus, you are using a word that is highly offensive to mentally disabled individuals. So, how about you not be offensive? Or, in language you might understand, how about not being offensive, you ******* ************* ******** ****** ******** ** ** ********* *** ********* ** ****** ** *** **** ******* ***** ***** ***** ***************** **** ** * ****** **** *****le?

Thought the same thing. Wasn't he the same guy that said all Muslims were accomplices to murder?

    Welp...

He has said a lot of crap that makes you shake your head, even by D&D standards. Funny how he is trying to play dumb now though... yea, I'm sure the scriptures will get a "taste of their own medicine" as people inside a building are lit on fire. To him, its just standing upto Islam. His thread was actually locked up, which is something you see pretty rarely in this forum...tells you how the mods saw it as well.

Let me refresh your short-term memory downbytheriver.

When educated about the phrase you used, "a taste of their own medicine"--meaning the individuals inside would have had to have committed a similar act for that phrase to be appropriate this is how you responded:

So yea, since they share the same religion they are getting a taste of their own medicine . Not only that, you were happy that people were beginning protest in violent ways such as this. It is pretty much in line with the crazy quote CW pulled up.

Say all the ****ed up **** you want, but don't pretend you didn't say it or that you are the victim when people call you out.

Sikhs are punjabi. Not all punjabis are Sikhs, so what he said actually reinforces his stated religion.

Why would he say he had Sikh friends if he were Sikh?

I think it was pretty much implied that he was stating that his grandfather got along with everyone else in pre-partitioned pubnjab and was friends with them. If you want to get to the core of critiquing what he said, then the phrase "same here" would not be appropriate in this instance and would support what you are saying, but people usually use it incorrectly to support part of what is said because it is usually understood what is trying to be conveyed. Are you really going to use that as support to call him a liar? He has stated that he was Sikh many times, that he was punjabi indian, and mentioned Sikh events that he has attended. If you are really that curious, just ask Clutch.

    Brah -- chill.

Upon putting the pieces together, he quite likely is not muslim. He's "Slick Vik" on HAIF, so based on that name, yes Sikh is a strong possibility.

da1 was clearly out of line. But what difference does it make WHAT he is? Funny, to some people here, if he's Muslim then they can say, "Aaahh, so that explains why he's so angry and insulting." If not then he's someone stifling discussion, just like a typical extremist. This guy's angry; he must be Muslim. This guy is angry; typical extremist. These labels and stereotypes are what breed bigotry.

Of course, some posters don't get it and they probably never will get it. But you know the signs, "I have several black friends..," "Not trying to be racist..."- heck, just in the selection of what one chooses to start threads about indicates their interest- and in some cases, obsession...

Not what I meant - just meant that people usually get angry when they feel it is about something that affects them directly.

There's never been any question that you're knowledgeable. The question is your obsession with Muslims and obvious deference to behavior from Israel that is disgusting and horrific. There's no question that these acts of Islamic terrorism are barbaric and they're condemned by most everyone as they should be. However, when Israel has occupied lands illegally for 50 years and kicks people off their lands, out of their homes, bombs indiscriminately, invades other countries, conducts assassinations, limits people's freaking calorie intake, enforces illegal embargoes... they get a free pass, always. And Israel is supposed to be a Democracy, allegedly.

There is clearly a problem within Islam but it can only be solved within Islam. It cannot be solved by American bombs or invasions or Seal Team Six. Taking responsibility for the American foreign policy with respect to Israel and the Middle East that has radicalized tens of thousands of Muslims would go a long way to helping put an end to this situation. If you don't understand the root causes of a problem, you'll never find a solution. Muslims die by the thousands every month in this battle within Islam so there's a complete lack of context being provided here. Every time some 'Murica poster talks about how the moderates need to step up it's pretty obvious they're just completely ignorant about how many Muslims are fighting and dying every day.

Agree to (totally) disagree about Israel - I'm sure we will continue to butt heads, but I, too, recognize that you are not Exiled or adeelsiddiqui or Hydhypedplaya or da1...and I sometimes enjoy your posts (when it is not about Israel...mostly outside the D&D).

Context and humor is up for interpretation and who are you to interpret it in a place where everyone insults each other with insensitive comments and you can't call people idiots and morons and cry like a baby when they retaliate and call you a nazi _ and from your post it does seem like you guys have that lock them all up concentration camp mentality which what da1 was pointing to.

And you repeatedly talking this fear for your life stuff is what probably got him banned. Did he actually threaten your life.

And the US has pumped over $100 billion into Israel and it's military since WWII helping them accomplish their goals.

But I don't think this problem can even be solved within Islam.

The problem of what Bill's proposal for a more aggressive approach to Islam is that the remedies assumed are eerily similar to our not-so-distant pasts when it concerns racial segregation or worse. This is similar to why Germans and Europeans are sometimes hamstrung when it comes to dealing with extremist portions of a growing minority demographic.

It's not that we're a nation of p*****s Bill. There's a realization that our melting pot experiment can go t*** up fast. Real fast.

No one really knows what to do in response, but that internal conflict with our past is what's causing the paralysis among those who want to act but haven't found a way.

The thing here though is that things have changed since the half century of division. One solution would be to double down with the minority communities and collectively find an answer. This would be different than the past where it was the majority making the absolute decisions and deciding what's best for everyone.

The likelihood for that is still slim, but it's not like there are no other answers than to repeat our mistakes from before.

Before he even mentioned it, a part of me was thinking that there's a chance someone might do something stupid to Mahr.
