Ok, thats it. Im on the bandwagon from now on! I didnt want this guy in houston but i was allways willing to give him a chance. Now its OVER! Get this guy outa here, I cant take it anymore! Its soooo BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Id rather get a loss than sit through a boring win like last night!
bump bump bump. Please, Les, for all of Houston's sake, send this Knickerbocker back up north. I can't take this kind of basketball much longer.
what an insightful thread. Fire Gundy!...duh...duh....which way do I go which way do I go. who's going to replace him? duh....I don't know....duh...Fire Gundy!...duh....fire gundy....duh duh...this is cool....Fire Gundy!...fire...fire...cool.
Calvin Murphy would be a logical, cost effective choice. Basketball not only would be fun again for the fans and the team, but also the Rockets would get a man who really understands the game at both ends of the floor. The only problem would be the mad dashes over to the broadcast booth for cookies, grins and analysis.
Teams never find a full-time replacement right after they fire a coach, it almost never happens, but that doesn't stop them from changing something that NEEDS to be changed. When the Nets decided to fire Byron Scott, did they worry who was going to replace him? NO, they just knew something had to be done. They have a no name interim in Frank and boom, they go on a 10 game winning streak. They may not be able to get a full-time replacement right away, few teams ever do, but maybe just a change in attitude will help these guys.
Any of a dozen other coaches in the league could do (at a minimum) a comparable job to what Van Gundy has done this season...
My point is that the Nets fired Scott not knowing who was going to replace him full-time, as do a lot of teams.
Watch how this thread will start losing its lustre after tonight's victory. gucci I will gladly accept that tag as long this Rox team get to the promise land ps. bump...
