Well, I'm done with this thread. It's a pretty sad indictment of our society when the Fire Gundy thread stretches longer than the TMac is Coming to Houston one (or whatever is was called). You all can hate on JVG all you want, haters. He wouldn't want it any other way.
So when does give him props = saying Tmac is responsible for the offense? You are done, edc. The best you can hope for is a losing streak so the bandwagon can shift your way.

I admitted about 8 pages back that I thought Van Gundy changed his offensive system. Before it was just pounding it into Yao and that was not working and Grumpy needed to be called out on it. Van Gundy changed and I could not be more happy with it. Before me and my friends loathed watching a Rockets game. Most of the time it meant games in the sixties or seventies and we were losing. Nowadays I am getting bored in the evenings if the Rockets arent playing. IT IS FUN TO WATCH ROCKETS BASKETBALL AGAIN!!!

I am making adjustments, and fully support winning, and consequently support Mr. Van Gundy..... I did not think it could happen and I am delighted Mr. Van Gundy proved me wrong-we can be an offensive force with him coaching. I do not need to worry about the guys being old. we are winning! that's a great post TBar. i was never against JVG but when the team was struggling there were some valid criticisms on this board. now, we are playing great. there is no reason to criticize JVG or the team. if you do, you are not a fan, period.
There is fandom, and there is blind loyalty. The Jordan Bulls had things that could be criticized. The Brady Patriots have things that can be criticized. Even the championship Rockets had things that could be criticized (Sam Cassel's tendency to ballhog anyone?). These Rockets are not in the league of any of those teams.
