While I am not sure who started the club, I feel that it is no longer even a club, its almost like a political party. All we need now is some PAC's and big bussiness, all in favor of the soul purpose to get Van Gundy Fired! Or maybe we can just put up with anothing losing season, if we don't make the playoffs, then he should be fired, right?

52 wins and deep in the second round of the playoffs THIS season, or Van Gundy must be fired.

I just don't think that is a fair deal for JVG.

You wanted TMAC, well you had to pay heavily for him; it turns out we were a talented team before the trade and most of that talent was sent to Orl. Firing JVG would be a scapegoat type move. You can say you don't like his style but it does win, you can't argue that. I say he gets one more year after this unless the players all quit on him then he must be fired.

    (1) I think it is perfectly fair. Loyalty means nothing to Les. If the team is not advancing, it is going backwards. Despite being summarily dismissed by the Lakers in the first round last season, another 45-46-47-48 win season and/or first round exit doesn't cut it.

    (2) I can argue that JVG is not a winner. Taken as a whole, JVG's coaching career has been nothing but consistently average. The Rockets need something more than that.

Well, if the most recent JJ/Boki for Davi Wesley trade was indeed masterminded by Van Golem, then you have my vote for axeing his ass.

I don't know about "behind," but he certainly had the chance to say "yes" or "no" before it happened.

this thread should be promoted to a sticky.

If we lose by 30 tonight, it should be a given that JVG gets fired. This team sucks and the coach and the general manager are right at the top of that list.

FIRE VAN GUNDY!!!! and take CD WITH HIM!!!!

Our city turns its lonely eyes to you (woo, woo, woo)
What's that you say, Mrs. Robinson?
Rudy T. has left and gone away (way, hey, hey, way, hey, hey)
