One of the main reasons we lost the Suns game:

Van Dumbo decides to play Ryan Bowen instead of Chuck Hayes.

One of the main reasons we lost the Sixers game:

Van Dumbo decides to cut Jon Barry because apparently we don't need 3-point shooting.

Gotta give him credit. Man is a genius. He always finds new ways to hurt the Rockets.

Look, I'd happily eat my own words, b/c it means we'd be the champions. But the chances are slim.

You deserve credit for putting the team first.

Some would rather be right at all costs...

    i am with tchou.

IF JVG wins a chamionship with the Houston rockets with Howard as the starting PF, I will take back EVERYTHING I said about the two. I will even throw money in the clutchfans tipjar. I only critisize them because they are hurting my Rockets. Its nothing personal.

I would love to be proven wrong since it will mean MY ROCKETS win the whole thing!!! I will make that trade anyday!

But what has JVG done really? He has never won anything and personell and coaching decisions have been terrible.

    Hello guys...

Just wanted to give this dying thread a bump. Like I always said, the regular bashers seem to hide the minute the Rockets win against ANYBODY.

But the minute they lose to ANYBODY, we fire up this thread. So, in case you guys found your dog dead, or you got the sniffles or there is a rare Martian on your lawn waving at you as you read this, lets fire up the thread and lay blame where it belongs.

Come on, EDC! Come on Rockets03! You haven't posted here in almost a week. Surely you want to blame JVG for something.

    Is it raining outside?

lol. Almu, you're the only one on this board who has more man-love for JVG than I have. Still fondly remember your "I'm in loooooooooooove!" thread. Probably not a coincidence that we're both New Yorkers...

    Rasselas,

If you saw him with the Knicks and you hear what the media says about him, you know he is a hell of a coach.

Is he the RIGHT coach for this team? Maybe. Maybe not. But I am not going to ask for his firing 2 minutes after he gets to Houston, or everytime he makes one mistake or just because he doesn't drink beer and smile after games.

Now that T-Mac might not play and we lose, we can get this thread fired up and count the millions of ways we lost because Van Gundy "outcoached" yet again.

    In a related news...

Look closely at Nostradamus' quatrans on page 158 of his book. I just found an interesting passage. Goes like this:

On the 5th day of the month that rhymes with harsh, the Chosen One will get a small tweak in a body area lower than the waist but higher than the man part. Though the body parts located in this said area are of constant persistant pain, we know the source of origination.

In the land of heat and humidity, Space Shuttles, nude bars and Papa Deux, there will be a small man with hairless head who comes down from the great north city of York. A true great mind that he is, he will befell an organization much calamaty and unrest. Said organization (whose name coincides with a truly great athlete who throws a spherical object with great movement and speed) will have a many unrestful people calling for the beheading of the soon to be known Anti-Rock Dwarf.

The City in the South who will be large and spread will lay countless blames on the Dwarf of York. This Dwarf who will go by the name that coincides with Gumby, will work tirelessly to win the heart and support of the followers of the organization. In the year of the new millenium but 6 years later, Anti-Rock Dwarf will be accused of anti-airconditioning language as he brings forth the wrath of he to his players. Soon, the City of the South will be under attack by giant locusts whom the Dwarf of York summons to strip thy land of all resources known through out as Black Gold. Causing great anguish amongst its population, the Dwarf of York will lay the smacketh down on many candy asses as he travels back home to the great city of York after bringing a famine of seafoodless proportions.

Hmm...could EDC and Rockets03 and DaDakota and the non believers be right all along?

After hearing all the backlash from my JVG is fired thread I have now seen the light!

The Clutchfans who want JVG gone have now swayed me, lets get rid of him.

I think it was JVG's fault that we have been banged up all year, I think it is JVG's fault we can't knock down an open three, you guys are right I am sorry!

texansckan chill out, your self-defense is coming off like yesterday's "humor and sarcasm" defense by Skilling and Lays' attorneys. I really don't think people want you banned, but it will take awhile for some of us to cut you slack about being "The Dumbest Guy In the Room". Cheers.

I still say if we find a better coach, replace him. He is a solid coach, but not that great.

BTW, he makes the game so ugly. If it wasn't Rox playing tonight, I will switch the channel in first two minutes.

Agree 100%. Only Knicks coach to get a standing O. (and that includes Pat Riley.)

That says nothing, other than Knicks has been pathetic since (or before) he quits. Riley is in freaking Miami.

    I'm not hiding anywhere.

Great game tonight by everyone, including our coach.

I am not one of those guys that just want to be right. I would love nothing more then JVG making me look like a moron. I don't think Gundy is a good long term solution and I will stick with that.

But if the team wins nobody is happier then me. I don't want the Rockets to lose just so I can revive this thread and say "I told you so".
