if we get rid of JVG,
    1) who can we get?

You're right, we're NOT a good team when TMac AND Yao are both out, but we shouldn't be a horrible team when either TMac OR Yao is out.

Comparing stats btwn NYK and the Rox are a moot pt b/c ur comparing apples and oranges. LB hasn't been hand-picking the Knicks players for the past two players. And the NYK don't exactly have a TMac or Yao caliber player, let alone both. The list of differences goes on.

Not to mention that our 7 of 10 wins came from playing crappy teams, and most of our losses scream through the tube @ you, "JVG has just been out-coached...again."

All-Star does not mean superstar. Pistons have 4 all-stars this year, but they still have zero-superstars.

I've listed more coaches than LB. I guess people keep bringing him up cuz he's got the worst record of all the coaches I've listed. =) Personally, I think LB would do a better job than JVG w/ da current roster, but that doesn't mean he'd make the best coach for the Rockets.

One of the few great coaches still potentially available is Nelly. I think he would do a great job w/ the current Rockets roster---especially for someone like Yao.

Have you looked at the roster?

    This isn't a championship roster-

    J. Howard
    D. Wesley
    R. Alston
    D. Mutombo

Let's get TMac some good health and some better supporting players.

Um...no. He is from NYC also. No NYK'ers allowed. Ask Rockets03 first and he will tell you.

If Le$ refuses to go with Rockets, or Houstonians, New Yorkers with a championship pedigree are just fine. Mr. Van Gundy has none of those qualifications.

Though Weisbrod is gone, McGrady said he intends to retire with the Rockets.

"As long as I have the big man ( Yao Ming,) the coach that I have ( Jeff Van Gundy) and the people upstairs, we're going to be all right," he said.

Hmm, let's see- do I listen to the naysayers or McGrady?

    Case closed.

As long as they can win Championship together. I am talking about WCF, the least, in NEXT season.

If they get kicked out early in the playoffs time and time again, nobody is guaranteed staying for long.

For the life of me I will never understand why Patrick Ewing is Yao's mentor...Kareem Abdul Jabbar teaching Yao how to perfect the sky hook would have (still could?) made more sense...

This game was not Gumpy's fault. We just couldn't hit a shot. They got wide open looks. TMAC needs to come back focused on Wed.

Yao Ming said the Rockets needed Tomjanovich to return and Le$ didn't care.

Bring in a championship-caliber head coach, and McGrady will be just fine.

JVG's defensive startegy is to give up the 3pointer.

That doesn't work against teams like Phoenix.

coincidently suns seemed to get hot with their 3pt shooting whenever head or bogans were on the floor.
