I can not believe JVG still blame his team for this loss. Totally nonsense!!

His game plan was 10000% out-run by SUNS

    fire him!

    Classic Moment:

"Firing Rudy T and hiring JVG will go down as the absolute biggest Rocket mistake of all time."
    - Old Man Rock, 10/28/2004

I think this is real classic, literally.

Remember the game in Dallas last year during the playoff, same as last night, There is no true Leader on this team, Coach Gumpy is suck, Mc Grady and Yao are weak in heart and mind, no leadership whatsoever, I noticed when they are in a huddle during timeout. these two so called Allstar already giving up in the second quarter. They dont have Go for a Kill attitude, mediocare who could careless about fighting to win. Did you see Dwayne Wade performance against Detroit, Miami Won, came from behind, Wade has the heart that never go die and keep fighting. Rockets goodbye!

On a good day (when we win), I wish that JVG be fired.
On a bad day (when we lose), I WANT him fired.

Why do I care what Rudy said? Two wrongs dont make a right. This is not about talking and saying things.

Van r****d has no game plan whatsoever. He was humiliated last year by a rookie coach in the playoffs. He has shown no capabilities of designing a game plan against a particular opponent.

Everybody and their grandma knew what the Suns would do and yet we looked like total crap out there. This bullcrap about the Rockets always being prepared is full of ****. They are never prepared.

In this winning streak or whatever, we have been BLOWN OUT by two of the three decent teams we have played!!!!

We were down by almost 50 God damn points against the Suns! They were without Amare Stoudamire!!!!!

Maybe you NYC'ers do have to stick together. New York spirit...blahblahblah.

All I know is the day Van Stupid gets fired I donate $100 to the tipjar!

dude your posts are mind-numbing. you preach patience with larry brown yet you want to fire van gundy because he can't win with david wesley and juwon howard leading his team?

van gundy doesn't present himself as an easy guy to like, i get that, but some of you guys are blind in your bashing of him.

did anyone here want the Rockets to pick up Flip Saunders after he was fired after that pathetic season with Minnesota? prior to that, the best he could do was six first round exits and one lucky season with Cassell and Sprewell to support the MVP KG to finally get to the third round. and now he looks like he's better than the hall-of-famer Larry Brown.

how about Lenny Wilkins? he's out of a job. does anyone think he can bring his winningest ways to Houston?

Exactly, Rockets03! Keep it up guys! At this rate, I will look like a total ass believing that Gundy can coach and bring the Rocks to the promise land.

The man obviously sucks! We lost to an elite team by 50 damn points! No matter whether you think the Suns are a better team or not, what matters is that no matter what, losses like this point out the incredibly bad coaching that the team has on a night in night out basis!

The wins don't mean ANYTHING. They have to come against the best teams and they have to be +10 point wins. We need a coach that will provide that. Bring me coach ____________ and he will turn it around! This guy sucks!

Fire Van Gundy and appease the masses! Send Van Gundy home before the hanging!

    Ps...

For the 2 or 3 who are still on the Gundy bandwagon with me, we are having a Welcome Home Gundy party at Crobar, NYC first Friday after his firing. My brother knows people that run the place. We can probably get VIP seating. Its awesome for 8 peeps so we will have plenty of space with just us 4. And I will pay for drinks for the first TWO hours we are there!! Drinks are 7-10 bux a pop so drink up!

Bring the Gundy home before the house burning!

1,315 - 1,133 career record. That's a lot of losses to go with those wins. I'll SELL.

Feb 27th at 7:30 PM- Mark that day and time on your calendar.

That's when we have our rematch with the suns. If the team doesn't come out with something to prove or with the desire to redeem themselves, then les really needs to blow this experiment up, beginning with the coach. I'm not saying that we should win the game, but we better have some time of game plan to defend the perimeter. But if we lay another egg, the coach should be fired the next day.

I would like to see next game against Suns, if JVG still do not know how to find a way to kill Sun, He doe snot deserve a coach job. We have more talent than Current Suns do, the loss is not T-mac's fault, is not Yao's fault, is not Alston's fault, it is JVG's fault. Double or triple defending on Yao is a stupid way that Suns won rockets, and JVG could not figure out how ot response it,he just take Yao out of game. It looks like elementry school studnet's idea. And He did the same thing twice without chnage.

An idiot would do this. He would say, at one time, everyone knows that a coach could not win with all the injuries that have occured. Then in the coming days, the roster starts to come back, the Rockets win 7 of 9 games, and after the 7 victories he is not heard from. But after the 2nd loss he comes out like a mouse squealing, "fire gundy" "fire the r****d" "fire the stupid ass coach' all i'm asking is you take a deep breath and think about what you say and you will get to know the idiot in you.
