No thanks. Coaching college is completely different than coaching the NFL. He has no NFL experience. Just need to look at the track record of college coaches coming to the NFL in their first stint. It's not pretty at all.
An epic ref rant would have been entertaining and giving fans something to feel. Though I don't need some symbolic show of anger in a press conference. Just show the results on the field then. The good: Sharper play by Osweiler, adjusting formations and plays to Brock's current preferences. Team bouncing back after mistakes. Prime-time game non-embarrassment improvement, upward trend oddly. The bad: Iffy decisions sometimes taking risks when safe is better, and playing safe when risk is better. Things a 3rd year coach really should be better in. And a general suspicion that he's in over his head in other ways. Barring total collapse like a losing streak and with Patriots type drubbings, I don't think he's getting fired and we'll be seeing him next season. And he'll carry "youngest offense in league" designation that needs "time to gel" for built-in excuses no doubt. No seat SHOULD be hotter next year if team comes up short though
Not sure what he brings to this team. You can't run a pro team like a college team. Anyone who proclaims themselves a QB whisperer is undeniably not.
As kubiaks offensive players become obriens offensive players this team struggles more and more to score.
It looks like BOB is leaving Brock in to sink or swim which makes you believe in the theory that Brock was Smith's guy not BOB's guy. It also makes you think BOB is trying to get Smith fired so he can get more control.
Did not watch this last game so clues as to what happened but if it was anything like the fourth QT against the Raiders than goodbye.
Just changed from Abstain to Yes. BoB is an offensive guy and just forced 13 points at home against a 28 PA squad. Crap playcalling and QB evaluation. McNair is the main culprit though. Everything starts with him.
