I meant I don't support either O'Brien or Rick. I still am a fan of the team even though management is terrible.
Plus... Fitzpatrick Mallet Hoyer Savage Osweiler Not to mention he ditched Fitz and Keenum, whom actually ended up being far better than anyone we signed or kept. It is completely meaningless. No rookie QB does anything but praise their coach.
Well that's not happening. O'Brien just survived after taking that role, he's not gonna give it up unless it's implementing his system (Godsey)
Okay, and then if you do that, what does BOB do? What's the point of even having him if he doesn't coach offense, defense, or special teams?
No, he's been coaching the offense ever since he's been here, part of what got him hired was the myth that he was an offensive guru.....and all he's done is make the offense worse till Watson got going and was good enough to overcome BOB's awful play calling.
Actually I didn't at this time. But in retrospect I think we should have. Unlike this team, the 2-14 actually had a talented core and good depth derailed by Schaub's decline. And Kubiak had proven he was a brilliant offensive mind unlike O'Brien.
Kubiak had lost that lockeroom... it was painfully obvious then, and remains obvious now. A change had to be made. This is why flip-flopping in retrospect looks pretty dumb. Perhaps improvement from here on out will allow you to again change your mind, in retrospect.
