If you live in America, how can you not see Christians as the biggest threat of some of your revered freedoms? Islam, at least in my knowledge provides a very little threat, if any at all. Quit hiding behind your fears and just say what you are.

Christianity has been a part of this country since it's founding and I still have most my freedoms.

I don't think you read my response to the freedom of religion in Islam in which I specifically mentioned Jerusalem.

Its ok, what I see from the posts from you is a classic case of tunnel vision, very Von Waferish....

That's quite an insult to Von Waferish. He wasn't that much of a knucklehead.

So why do you believe the Jews of Israel are being attacked by Muslims?

Because they entered an occupied land 60-something years ago, declared they had a God-given right to it because they briefly controlled it thousands of years ago and it was promised to them, and created a Jewish state in which the Muslims already living there were instantly demoted to second class residents?

Great read about a "30 mosques in 30 days" trip of two Muslims in America. CNN tagged along for a few of 'em. It seemed like it was mostly a great, welcoming experience... but the Mobile, Alabama experience was sort of creepy to me. I wonder how many mosques around the U.S. are like that? Judging from the experience of the whole trip: very few. Still, it gives a twinge of worry.

The cop story in Mississippi disgusts me, too.

This statement can start a whole new argument in and of itself and I see your personal motive so I am not going to enable this argument for you.

Here is my question, have you ever been to Israel? I assume that you have not but I went to Jerusalem in December 2009 and did not see any attack from a Muslim on a Jew what so ever. I also assume you get your news from the US News channels which have a personal agenda(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovugclIWMEk) I particularly don't like this liberalviewer person but the content of the video pretty much sums up the news we get on Israel from our news outlets.

I went to Jerusalem/Tel Aviv/West Bank in July 2009 as well...eye opening experience, to say the least.

Israel has rockets flying into it's country all the time:

This is done by different Muslim terrorists group. I believe they do it because they do not want Jews in Israel; thus no freedom of religion. You say Muslims support freedom of religion and Jerusalem is an example of this. So my motivation is to figure out why you think Muslim groups are shooting rockets into Israel if it is not to get all the Jews out.

I think this is a pretty good post in general, but there is one flaw with it: It assumes that Wahhabism is the only problem and all the other Islamic beliefs are good or in all aspects tolerable. My personal opinion is that while the Wahhabis may be the worst offenders, even the non-Wahhabist sects of Islam, or many of them, have cultural practices that may or may not be directly traced to the Quran which are unacceptable (now, that might be because they have been infiltrated by Wahhabism, but at some point it becomes indistinguishable from the outside - when the other Muslim sects have been infiltrated by Wahhabist thinking to such an extent that they have already adopted a lot of their intolerable practices, they become just as or almost as intolerable).

One of the reasons they send rockets into ISrael is because ISrael discriminates against Palestinians on issues that have nothing to do with Israel's security, Israel is occupying their land, and oppressing them.

There are certainly some that are flat out against Jews in Israel, just like there are Jews that are against Palestinians in the occupied territories as well.

Are you rationalizing/justifying them shooting Rockets into Israel?

No Muslims don't. Some Muslims in some groups do. Some Jews want every Palestinian out of the area and vowed never to live next door to a Palestinian state.

Settlers murder and beat Palestinians regularly as well. Going back and forth is only going to rehash the past. Both sides have committed great atrocities, and need to look forward and how move on peacefully.

Not at all, I'm looking at reasons why some of the attacks happen. I want nothing more than to do what is right, and remove some root causes rather than just treat the symptoms.
