we should have won both against the celtics and the blazers, we just played like crap. plain and simple. actually, we've played like crap all year, just happened to have played the 2 worst teams in the league and played a decent game against dallas. we need time to gel. there's no offensive chemistry, the defense looks loose. it just hasn't come together. at least brooks looks like he's going to be contributing a lot this year, as well as barry.

jokes aside, i have a serious question.

it's obvious we're struggling on offense. looking back upon last season, adelman made adjustments after ~20 games when he realized the team was not or could not play a perfect "motion" offense he wanted.

this year, looks like we're on the same track. yao on the high post is not going to be highly effective. the van gundy ball has planted too deep in yao's brain. :D so where are we going to go on offensive side of the ball?

my gut feeling is this team, based on its components, is never or nearly impossible going to be the team with an offense resembling the adelman's kings. gotta be curious to see how adelman makes adjustments along the way this time.

come on man...gimme a break....its only our 5th game of the season....lets give Adelman a chance. i believe management will give him one ultimatum, go past the 2nd round or bust, simple as that. no reason to press the panic button now. and i believe this year we will pass the 2nd round. lets stay positive ;)

Let's just fire the entire franchise and move it to another city. How about the San Diego Lightning?

*tsk tsk* worst thread after the one that proposed that artest is a crap defender.

I'm sorry to say this but they should definetly consider it at the end of this year. Not because of our start but because his system will never work with Yao & T-mac, they both need a lot of touches to be effective. Also, T-mac doesn't move well without the ball and since he's a superstart and doesn't get called upon he will never do it; Yao will never be effective in the high post like Brad Miller. We don't have the athleticism nor the speed nor the right players so maybe it's better for the Rockets and RA to part ways. If not then the best would be to move both Yao and T-mac, which will never happen, for other players who do fit the system.
Flip Saunders I would seriously consider, because we can keep our personell for his system. He's had tremendous success with the Pistons who were always a lot like the Rockets. What do y'all think ?

I know they will not let RA go but hypothetically.

Rocketjudoka are you even a basketball fan or do you just jump on to the bandwagon because we have a chance this year. How in the hell is adelman to blame for this. Look at preseason shemac was out for all the games battier has been out. Alston should of been in the gym at 2 in the morning instead of drinking. Adelman cant control injuries or outside problems. Its time for the players to step up and start playing like they want it. Artest may not of been on the past couple of nights but look at that guy hustle. every lose ball hes got a hand on. Maybe tmac should start watching artest while hes on the bench. So enough with the stupid thread of lets fire adelman its not his fault that he is the coach of a million dollar feather. IF anything the rockets need to keep artest and trade shemac next season.

That's true I was thinking of going with Fire RA but that might be confused with Rafer Alston, who should be fired too. ;)

Yeah, the Rockets are 4 and 2.

But as far as I'm concerned they're 0 and 6 so far at running Adelman's offense.

Why is he even here if the team won't follow his lead and play the motion offense?
