(16 years for stabbing someone 30 times? - in america this guy would never see the light of day again) and a new burzum album will be out in 2 weeks! the hardest gangster rappers got nothin' on varg!
Too many commitments, sadly, to make that kind of trip today. You should do it, however. You'd also enjoy the Netherlands, that marvelous liberal mecca, where you can hop on a train in Amsterdam in the morning and be high in the Alps for dinner, for example in Interlaken, having relaxed on the train watching castles along the Rhine during the journey there. I've done that more than once. I know going to Europe is a trip, but it really is a trip!
Well, that's an alternative, depending on what you're doing there. Spending an evening at the Melkweg (the Milkyway, for those who don't know any Dutch) might do the trick. I had such a great time there in 1971, a year after it opened. I was in the media room with my Dutch girlfriend, where about a dozen screens were showing everything from The Wizard of Oz to a chick doing it with a Great Dane and a horse, when a guy with hair like Art Garfunkel asked for a light. I had my lighter turned up (I can't imagine why) and promptly burnt off all his dead ends. Gotta say the fellow was cool about it and one could say even generous. Yeah, it was a trip.
