Totally agree. Just because it was $50 and she was the cleaning lady doesn't make it alright. I'm sure if someone dropped a $50 bill in the restroom and didn't get it back would be pissed. And just because you're the cleaning lady doesn't give you license to take anything < $50 home.

Edit: Just as a friendly tip, why not keep the ring on until you need to wash your hands? That way you can avoid having your ring stolen OR lost in such a manner?

From your original post..... Just curious. How were you talking to the cleaning lady if you can't hear? Did the cleaning lady know sign language? Or were you just joking about not being able to hear? I'm confused now.
