Totally agree. Just because it was $50 and she was the cleaning lady doesn't make it alright. I'm sure if someone dropped a $50 bill in the restroom and didn't get it back would be pissed. And just because you're the cleaning lady doesn't give you license to take anything < $50 home.
no_answer was asking me a while back if I wanted to buy a ring like that, but she was asking 3 times what it was worth.
Ok... From what I meant about cleaning restrooms, they come in twice a day to replace toilet paper, paper towels and swipe the sink. I have not seen them mop. Maybe the other cleaning ladies do that afterhours. Damn you want me to explain how it fell out...aight, you asked for it. I was squatting. I'm not able to hear so I didn't hear it fall. So there.

Oh ok. I read it as you took your ring off before you washed your hands so you could wash them really good. Edit: Just as a friendly tip, why not keep the ring on until you need to wash your hands? That way you can avoid having your ring stolen OR lost in such a manner? I mean I can't see why you'd need to take it off in the stall unless...
From your original post..... Just curious. How were you talking to the cleaning lady if you can't hear? Did the cleaning lady know sign language? Or were you just joking about not being able to hear? I'm confused now.
