now they're letting kobe go one on one against ray allen? the celtics are behaving strangely here at the end.
This is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. They double team when he's 40 feet away... but won't even help when he's within 18 feet?!?! This is ridiculous.
u see how easy double teams dont' come to kobe? role players make shots. it's not hard science. there's a reason our stars always get doubled all the damn time. watching these good teams make me wanna puke with the shooters around our stars.
Incredibly foolish decision by Doc and Thibadeau not to double up Kobe the last two times down the floor. Very terrible judgment.
Lakers t-shirt fans... see you back in... LA.... for 2 more games...? Wow, fair. Only in 2 games from now.
garnett was going to set illegal screens until they called one. and odom, lol, can't even do a layup correctly. celtics just concede at the end, very weird all around.
wow... illegal screen? that was random. i don't care who wins, i hate both teams. i'm just glad i won my bets.... boston (with that huge spread) and under 196. not bad... not bad.
Wow! Putting the defensive specialist Ray Allen on Kobe Bryant -- single coverage at that -- towards the end of the game? What's Doc Rivers thinking? Celts are trying hard to lose this one, I for one am glad they're going to get their wish. EDIT: WTF?!!! The Celts didn't even try to foul towards the end, they just wanted to get the game over with. They deserve to lose the whole freakin' series for that moment of lack of respect/over-confidence/uber arrogance.
Actually Doc and Thibs coached like their heads were cut off, as in what were they thinking. They should get ripped in postgame discussions. That was a disgusting last 90 seconds on defense for the Celts and gives me a lot of doubts. tigermission1, you post says it all for me. I'm so mad at the Celts I wouldn't care if they lost the series now.
A question... Are you a better defensive minded coach than Jeff Van Gundy? He would say you're wrong...
One of the worst last two minutes of coaching I've ever seen. It was literally starting to look like they were throwing the game. I thought that only happened in boxing...and baseball a millennium ago. If they're so freakin' confident that they will win the series, then they should have handled their business tonight. A disgusting show of arrogance by the Celts, they may need to be knocked off their high horse for a moment there.
