True, but the difference is the regular season Celtics have returned. This is the team who's defense choked teams into submission and allowed them to get big leads. This is the team who's offense was efficient and didn't allow teams to come from behind. This is the team that went 66-16, including 25-5 against the vaunted Western Conference.

This is the team I was looking for when the playoffs started. I'm glad they finally showed up.

kobe is just isn't made for the finals. he hasn't had one single dominant game in the finals for as long as i remember (esp. since he has played so many)

Leon Powe had a great game against the Rockets, maybe he's for real.

What's funny is that people want to say Powe is like Landry when, in fact, Powe is MUCH better than Landry. He has better footwork and his offensive game is better...not to mention the FT shooting as well.

To me, Powe's got the better post game. But he also seems slightly less explosive, a slightly inferior rebounder, and definitely an inferior jump-shooter.

Yeah, if that Celtics team shows up twice in the next 3 games...the Celtics might be celebrating in Englewood.

The Celtics just play very aggressive, offense and defense. On offense, they don't seem to settle for a lot of jump shots and always go to the basket. Defensively, they do not give up alot of easy baskets and have pretty good assistant who knows how to take the star scorers out of the game.

I know alot of people are crying about the calls, but at the end of day. The Celtics were team that was closing in on 70 wins with great team defense.

Too bad the Lakers play in Downtown LA.

I like the old school thought though.

I don't see how people are really complaining about the officiating, hasn't been perfect but there were several over the back calls the Lakers got away with. Plus everytime Rondo has the ball he has gotten inse the lane with ease like Tony Parker.

Not as enjoyable as I thought it would be, some blatant biased officiating was going on in that game.

Are you even watching the game? No one is discrediting Boston's defense but they've been tremendously helped by the the duo Dumb (Delaney) and Dumber (Crawford)

Oh ****, I might've spoke too soon. Lakers with a comeback (Vlad Rad got away with traveling), but Celtics still getting away with fouling and not getting punished for it.

Kobe was fouled, and no call.

Wow, what an incredible comeback (as well as uncalled traveling violation) by the Lakers.
