pierce on fire, garnett making everything, celtics role players playing well, kobe screwing up 2 for 1's badly (takes a tough 3 instead of running the offense even though the time differential had already gone away) and turning it over, lakers putting celtics in the penalty with 8 minutes left in every quarter. hard to see the lakers winning this one.
Come on Kobe, you got to take advantage of having Ray Allen on you. He might have the worst on ball defense in the NBA. He should be aggressive and get to the foul line.
well **** that. garnett's ridiculous flip behind the back to avoid the backcourt violation somehow ending up in an open jumper instead of a turnover (where was the ref who made that backcourt call earlier on gasol?) and posey's 3 have made the last 9 minutes a formality. don't know why people doubted the celtics so much. they just make the plays to win. edit: what is phil jackson doing? he starts kobe in the 4th (which he sometimes does if the lakers need it) but now takes him out? he hasn't done that all playoffs. and turiaf with another useless foul. just let certain things go if playing aggressive won't stop anything.
uhh, get kobe back in there. even if he sucks at shooting right now the current lineup looked completely lost those last 2 possessions.
cmon man, he's killing the celtics out there right now. first with a bad shot, and passing up a 3 and have a shot clock violation
Sam Cassell single handling changed the momentum in favor for the Lakers. What took Doc Rivers so long to take him out?
was that the shortest 2 seconds ever? and paul pierce may never miss again. kobe and the lakers can't shoot, pierce can't miss. that's the difference, and the ball game. edit: that call should be on the floor b/c walton tackled brown on the rebound but got all ball on the shot.
so he doesn't get criticised by everyone for not playing sam cassell, which in turn means he has a lesser chance of getting fired. btw this is danny ainge's team not doc's team
