this is what's such BS about playing the celtics. sam cassell's corpse making 2 tough jumpers, pj brown with a lucky post up, leon powe with a tough layup. their role players just seem to make so many in-over-their-head plays in any given game.

good jobs by fisher and turiaf to commit obvious fouls a hundred feet from the basket trying to pressure and getting the celtics in the penalty already.

edit: and what do you know, the very next time down, non-shooting free throws for garnett.

You should be demoted -- immediately.

lakers are just too freakin' good offensively. all 5 can beat their man off the dribble.

Need to watch the Kobe/Cassell little game within the game. Cassell said a few words to Kobe when Fisher was at the line, I can tell it was the usual Cassell trying to get in someone's head.

A little later Kobe bowls over a more aggressive then usual Cassell on D for an offensive foul.

kobe 3-10, lakers still shoot over 50% and have the lead on the road.

clearly the best offensive team in the L.

The Celts are gonna have a very tough time winning this series without a fluke injury or some other event hampering the Lakers. The regular season Celts juggernaut has disappeared and these playoff Celts have taken their place. The regular season Lakers, who played in fits and starts, are gone and this championship level team has taken their place.

I said Lakers in 5 and still believe it.

It seems the lakers' game plan is to stop Pierce. How far this series can go will depend on Pierce's performance.

did pierce travel again trying to draw a 4 point play? and now a friggin' bank in? celts already have the lead again.

Haha. PP's 4 point play reminds me of Barry getting fouled in the SA/LA series.

Very good to see the Celts intensity starting the 3rd quarter.
