It's funny, I've never seen tinman as anything but a history-spitting goofball, someone who amplifies his passion into performance art. I'm not sure he takes this that seriously.

I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think he's really elitist, unless someone can actually take their join date seriously. ... Then they deserve the repetitive annoying grief from tinman anyway.

Some people drink G2 like me and Dwayne Wade, some people drink that Haterade.

What they can't stand is when I use actual facts mixed up with style kinda like Eric B and Rakim back in the day.

Oh its fine for these guys to swing at me, but when I swing back it makes them cry like they just saw the last scene of A Walk to Remember with Mandy Moore.

    I love it!

see folks, I must ask you: what kind of elitist refers to Eric B and Mandy Moore? LOL.

It's like calling Sam Houston State (bless it, no offense) a bastion of elitism.

you don't need to defend me B-Bob,
I'm enjoying this. just because they can't dance doesn't mean they can't try.
and its funny watching them try.

    let them "Sweat the technique"

Another reason why ABC (ESPN) should just let someone else produce NBA Basketball, because they have no clue what they're doing.

I don't "hate" any of our "heroes," I just object to the fact that you are purposely and consciously beating down on our current "heroes" to try and make some point about people criticizing Sam's trigger finger in one game out of his entire career. I still root for Sam and I even root for Posey and even Tom Thibodeau, and that's why I would rather see the C's win over the Lakers.

The only difference between me and you is that while I remember and cherish the championship years, I still am a die-hard fan...an objective one, mind you, but still a die-hard fan who sticks with the team through thick and thin. You on the other hand? Apparently you are no longer a fan, and you only appreciate those who wore the uniform and won the war, but not the soldiers who bore and still bear the battle scars and bleed Rockets red. That makes you the worst kind of fan: a bandwagoner.

I hope I am wrong, I used to like you, tinman, but your true colors are starting to show. May be spending all that time in LA and Vegas is messing with your brain. Come home from the cold, tinman, come home! Houston will forgive you, I'm sure Yao and McGrady can find it in their hearts to forgive you too.

I wouldn't hold my breath. The fact that he's posted more on a single playoff game involving Sam Cassell over the entire Rockets/Jazz series leads me to believe he's still wearing that Maxwell jersey that he's never washed to preserve that original scent.

Tick throw, crossup roundhouse, psychic dragon punch!

The Rockets are not in the playoffs right now, its the Celtics and the Lakers.

I'll always be a fan because AKEEM gave me an autograph when I was a kid and told me with his eyes to NEVER LET THEM FORGET. And the energy flowed to me and my heart was pure Rockets red.

keep your hate on dude, I'm confident in my Rockets fandom and my Adidas Tmac gear and Yao figurines.

Bandwagon? no. Band of brothers (1999ers) yes!

blocked your tick short kick, and reversed it with a Zangief 360 pile driver!

the maxwell jersey = the shroud of turin

and in turn, you guys spewed more hate toward Sam Cassell than any Utah Jazz named Malone or Boozer!

So be it with tigermission, he has turned Brutus towards us Ceasars. But history will show that they name the casinos are CEASAR, not Brutus.

    Jesus, not Judas!

    he has a point tinny

you got no problem slamming the current guys, but god forbid someone point out BobRob or Sammy are damn near finished.

Love them guys to death, but they got more miles on their bodies than the Concord....whatever positive they can bring to the floor is a bonus these days.

    It aint bashing, its truth.

You want full reighn to bash the current Rockets? then shut up about the "glory days" and quit jumping down peoples throats when they say something less than complimentary about Sam or Horry

Can you please just answer the question, which was:

If Robert Horry or Sam Cassell were playing against the Houston Rockets, who would you cheer for? Would you want those guys to have success against Houston or not?

    Please, it's a simple question...just answer it.

tinman, I'm going to comment just this once.

Please do us all a favor and don't hijack any more game threads. Nobody gives a flip about your fetish for Sam Cassell, Robert Horry and 1999ers. Just stick a sock in it so the rest of us can talk about the Lakers vs. Celtics. Pleeeeeease? Sometimes you are funny and I laugh at your posts, but you are also one of the annoying posters on Clutchfans. If you want an endless, pointless, nonsensical back-and-forth about former Rockets, please start your own thread instead of hijacking one meant for completely different purpose.

    Just my 2 cents.

He already has, about a hundred of them. Then those threads usually drift away because no one gives a damn, so he'll just post another thread or post that says the same thing over and over again.

I'm surprised he hasn't told the bbs how proud he was the first time he played with himself to a Rockets 94 calendar.

I'll say it again, he's about as significant to this board as Zan Tabak was to the 95 Rockets. You guys that are taking him serious and getting actually worked up over him are just giving the William Hung of Clutchfans a stage for his nonsense.

Just patronize the clown, put a few quarters in his little tip can, and move on.

    PS. Heres's a good poll:
Who is the bigger attention w****? tinman or Cassell?

Really? He's more like Christmas lights on a house for me. It's neat the first time you pass by, then a few months later, you wonder why it's even still here. After that you just kind stop noticing

Well can't expect much. At least they didn't have the whole ESPN Friday night crew there....oh wait
