I am not kidding. Look at the post I was trying to reply to. He said current winning stretch has nothing to do with Yao and it was beause role player. By this logic, I could make the sam argument for last year. Not knowing why I was saying that and the context I was saying that showing that your lack of basic intelligence for reading.
I can't believe so many of you seem to care whose "team," it is. Yao and TMac both seem to care less, so why do you guys?
Now I am but I swear you were going with a King Arthur's square table versus round table analogy. And if I may, they are playing like they're eating together at a round table. That long *ss table with Yao at one end, Tracy at the other and the roleplayers scattered here and there really sucks under Coach A.
Yao is really starting to take a leadership role on this team. The Knicks broadcasters said "The more you watch him the more you realize that he is the best center in the NBA. He is on the verge of greatness". I've given Yao a hard time but only because I see so much potential in him. Hopefully this is the start of something great and when Tracy gets back and IF he buys into the system this team really has a chance to take off.
Great to see Mac on his feet cheering for Yao's dunk, I believe they two really get along. And his facial expression after Scola made that shot was pure gold.
No matter what analogy you use, the Rockets are no longer playing like 2 hobos, one paraplegic and rolling on a skateboard, fighting over a piece of half-chewed bologna. <--- That's how we were in the first quarter of the season.
Chemistry is a lot better. That little alley oop Rafer tried to throw to him at the end of tonight's game. Even though it was a bust it looked like they were having fun.
i dont doubt that 2 years ago's tmac can lead the team, but tmac now? can lead the bench and cheerleaders
HAHA stupid thread, I dont care if its Yao's team or Tmac's team as long as we win. I feel bad for alot of you guys. You dont get to actually enjoy the team b/c you are more obsessed with little things that don't matter.
I am surprised that people didn't give Yao enough credit and claim it is bench player's effort. True, without their points, we can't win 6 of 8 times we recently played but most of their shots are open shots, the shots most NBA player(especially PG and SG) should make 9 of 10 times. This is NBA, No.1 rule is not to give open shots. We gotta give Yao credit to attract double team and give our players some chances. It might seem funny in first couple games that without Yao on the floor, we actually played better to move the ball, mainly because opponent team is not prepared to defeat a team suddenly becomes smaller and quicker. Clearly recent three games have shown without Yao on the floor, we are just a outside shooter team which are not competitive, especially against those teams who has strong Center and PF. I won't say it is Yao's team now, but previous debute about Yao and T-Mac won't make other players better should go to grave. Yao did it. T-Mac did last year, so period, don't make noise about other players. If other players are so good like star, other teams are not fool to pay them more money. Even with Warriors and Celtics, we made them hard to win, we pressured them until last minute, besides that we make 6-2 run. So don't tell me that's not a good record and our team didn't face enough challenges yet. Clearly without T-Mac or Yao, we are just ordinary teams who would live with shooting percentang and pray God to give some mercy for us to win. Talking about players shine for the game, I would give credit to RA, he picked players to shine every time right on.
What's especially ironic is that Adelman's offense emphasizes balanced scoring. You want a bunch of guys scoring in double figures. It's not Vlade, it's not C-Web. It's about a bunch of guys playing as a team. It's not Yao, it's not T-Mac. It's a team. What's really been cool about this last streak is how you've seen a different guy step up and shine every game. Brooks against NY, Head last night, Bonzi, Scola and of course Alston. Really good stuff.
It was also a fact so many time we lost 5 in a roll with TMAC, and we play lame basket ball. what's u point? Win is win, no matter Tmac is here or not!
the point is that you didn't bother to read the rest of the thread so your post is irrelevant. do your homework before replying to posts.
Weren't you one of those clowns that begged the heavens to trade Yao for KG so that you can give KG 24 hour fe||at!o? I remember that you, together with Roffle, Starscream and ekim are among the more prominent Yao bashers in this forum. Yet, you now have the cheek to show your face in here and say that you do not care it is Yao's team as long as the Rockets win? Good god, talk about hypocrisy and reversal of position. The ONLY thing I can agree with you is that there is no such thing as a Yao team or a T-Mac team. Other than that, you should stop trying to test our intelligence. BTW, you boy KG was dominated by Nazr Muhamad tonight! Shouldn't Boston trade KG for NM then?
