I'm extremely happy we are winning right now, but I'm not going to get too excited considering it was the knicks and wizards.
You said it Think about all those stuff TMAC said in the past few years, it looks like he is more of a talker. I like Yao's attitude, but not so much of all his whining grimaces everytime he gets called. Rafer has done a great job, and all those other teammates are stepping up. Together, it's a team!
I just have zero respect for a quitter, someone doesn't want to take responsibility when it fails. I am not arguing about his current injury, although I do like to trade him for some durable star. If he is injured, let him rest. I do NOT respect him because he quits when it really gets tough, when the team (which he thinks it's his team) is falling behind big. I know Yao struggles from time to time, but he never quits. I believe he can be a leader but it would not be realistic to expect him to single-handly take over games on a consistent basis. He can, once in a while, and he can provide stable or excellent performance most of the time, and he will stuggle once in a while as he is limited physically. But he never quits, and he never stops working hard, and he admits his bad performance when he has such a game. This is the type of people that I respect. Until T-Mac can prove that he works hard, fight hard, win or lose, all season long, day in and day out, until he can admit his fault (like a man) for the games when he is not playing well, he won't earn respect from me.
Oh my gosh, if it is not rofflesaurus, if it is not Starscream, it is you.... Please... give up. Many thanks in advance.
yeah, we proved we can win with only yao for now...but it's a small sample size and crappy teams. yao needs a lot more wins to convince he can carry a team alone. i'm kinda fine tmac's taking his sweet time coming back so we can see what yao can do and settle the argument for once and all.
Your kidding right? Last year's "Yao-Less" record had everything to do with T-Mac. Our supporting players wouldn't have stepped up if T-Mac was not playing like a MVP candidate. Remember, he finished #3 in the nba.com MVP Race. Saying T-Mac had nothing to do with the success without Yao is absurd and shows your lack of basketball intelligence.
I just haven't seen t-mac quit so i don't know where you are making up this stuff to support your crazy idea that he is a quitter. It's really weird. by the way, when a team goes down by 40 points, a lot of coaches pull thier star players because clearly they aren't getting the job done and try to give other players a chance to do something positive.
Rofflesaurusholz... StarScream ...Ekim ...ROFL. These three fools are praying for the Rockets to lose tonight and Yao had a sub-par game so they can celebrate by having an all-male orgasm party together.
The team was falling by 25 or 27 points entering the fourth quarter. There were examples that team came back from 25 point deficits and won the game. (Bulls in a final game). Lakers were down by 15 pts when there were only 5-7 minutes left in game 7 vs. Blazers in west conf final. They fought hard and came back. Even in the 3rd quarter, T-Mac already started to show sloppiness, not willing to run hard, defend hard. So it is not that T-Mac quit when it was falling behind by 40 pts. He already quit in the 3rd quarter, when there were quite some examples that teams had come back under similar situation. And don't forget, that was the last game of the year, if you stop trying. Why JVG still put Yao on court ithrough the fourth court? At least it has shown that JVG didn't want to give up entering the 4th quarter. You seem to be too simple, sometime too naive.
