that was awesome.... I still don't follow as I used to in the late 90's/early 2000s, but still try to keep up with it by the TV reports and try to go to as many of the shows when they come into town. I'll be at Smackdown, floor seats Row 3, hoping representing in a Carmelo Rockets jersey
Don't clown the Undertaker like that. That company actually need that man the last few Wrestlemanias. If it wasn't for him there would have been nothing exciting about the last couple of years.
damn, i might actually start to watch wwf again. i guess mcmahon called rock and said please save our company, its going down the drain, fast. i mean come on, its true, from austin, to rock, to f'in cena... now its a pg show, the rock came back with that trash talking bashing attitude the wwf had. this is what the wwf needed.
I haven't seen wrestling in a long, long, long time. This would actually get me interested enough to watch it. Looks like current fans on the net are all saying that The Rock's promo there pretty much puts everything the WWE now has to shame. The man was born to be a pro wrestler.
Wow....rep for the videos. That brings back some memories. Damn, I haven't seen wrestling in like 12 years. To think it's been 7 years since he's wrestled.....and mainly was in Hollywood. Crazy. This actually has me intrigued again....with the Rockets being terrible....might as well watch a new form of entertainment. What channel is WWE on these days? What still exists? Smackdown? Raw?
Epic.... I always said I would never watch WWE again unless the Rock came back... Guess Im watching...
dammit this was in anaheim and no one told me..cmon guys I stop seriously following WWF 11 years ago but this would have been an epic Raw to go to...ugh I may have to catch wrestlemania now this year
The man is just flat out the most charismatic wrestler to ever step into the ring. Got home a while ago and my facebook was flooded with nothing but "Rock is back" posts so I had to check this out. I'm definitely going to be watching this years wrestlemania. Probably the first time watching wrestling since maybe when the Rock left.
I remember watching the Rock because he got popular right after the Oilers left and while there was an NBA lockout. It gave me something to watch. Now this gives me something to watch if there's an NFL lockout.
I wonder if he truly is back to stay. I'm sure he has other movies lined up to where it will take up a lot of his time.
One of the reasons he's doing it, is to promote Fast Five, the timing is perfect with it being released a few weeks after Wrestlemania. Put the pieces together, Universal Studios is releasing the movie, NBC is own by Universal, NBC runs USA Network and Syfy that show Raw and Smackdown respectively...... coincidence? He's not staying, I'm sure he has a bunch of other movies lined up for him. He better stay away from the kiddie movies. I hear they may do a spinoff movie of his Fast Five character if the movie is successful.
But he said he came back for the fans Didn't really buy it but still good to see him back. I wonder if he'll actually wrestle though. Can he still wrestle?
if Ric Flair/Hogan wrestled to their late 50s, hell Ricky Dragon Steamboat headlined a match 2 years ago vs. Jericho at a PPV at 55, The Rock can still wrestle at the young age of 38
THE MOST ELECTRIFYINGGGGGGGG MAAAN IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!! I ****ing LOVE THE ROCK! I quit watching wrestling when he left and now I'll tune in just because of him. I met him one time in Orlando on vacation and he is the most genuine/awesome Celebrity ever. REPS coming for all the Rocky fans who posted in this thread.
I had no idea what was gonna happen in this vid when someone showed it to me. I was like, "I haven't watched wrestling in years, what's so special about this..." 'IF YA SMEEEEEEELLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN' *brb changing pants*
Damn has anybody been able to hold 20 minutes of WWE airtime better than that since the Rock left? It broke my heart to see him lose live in Wrestlemania 17. Damn your drunk heart Steve Austin!
