I know it's one preseason game.. but its been a while since Australia has had a role model in the NBA.. and Shane Heal top scored in a game against the Hornets and he kicked Dan Langhi's ass with stats...

    Shane Heal 17 MIN's 6-11 FG's 4-7 3's Pt's 16
    Dan Langhi 12 MIN's 1-4 FG's 0-0 3's Pt's 2

My favorite Xander Hollander line about Shane Heal:

"Maybe the ball rotates differently in this hemisphere ... "

Have forgot about the great Bull's teams of the 90's. The biggest Aussie in the NBA was Luc Longley, probably the best from that big island.:D

    He he. So very true...

I have a funny Shane Heal story. I was at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre playing basketball with a few friends, and in walked Andrew Gaze and another player. At first I thought it was Michelle Timms, and was about to greet them both. But when I got close enough, I saw it was Shane Heal. :D I damn nearly said 'Hi Michelle' to him.

    Timms is a horible thing!

Heal is past his prime I think but he can still drain the 3. Hopfully he will get some minutes this season.

Anyone know what happened to that Williams guy that played for the Sydney Kings last year? he was awsome!

don't forget the hammer shooting slogan (he really said this)

"If you're hot keep shooting, if your cold keep shooting till you're hot"
