I love the enthusiasm (and criticism) of Malick on this board. At least it is keeping everyone interested through the dog days of summer.

og3pio = one of the funniest things I have ever read on this board. We do make a dynamic duo and are hoping the film will be ready a few weeks before Star Wars: Episode 3 hits the big screen.

....i don´t think badiane won´t get a roster spot anytime soon in the nba... heck what´s the big deal with him... venson hamilton and tyrone washington looked more nba-ready back then and afaik, they haven´t played a single minute yet...

I don't understand all of the hate this thread has generated. Why? Even Clutch's Posse got into the act. The thread is clearly labled and why did the people that did not enjoy talking about Malick Badiane come into the thread? Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion and their postings, but why flame some people that want to keep up with a guy that has captured their imagination with his energy and enthusiasm, not-to-mentioned his God given physical attributes.

I have appreciated the time 'o3gs' has spent keeping us informed. I may be naive but there seems to be a curious quiet this summer about PF and a b/u C. Is it possible the coaches want to take a strong look at Badiane before trading for someone? Personally I would like to see him make it just because he was fun to watch. IMO the physical abilities that he has: tall, long, fast, quick, hops, good defense(maybe) and good rebounder(maybe) would be the perfect compliment to Yao.

I liked to watch James Posey for the same reasons. I remember all the people who were against giving him the money before he went to Memphis and became an up-and-coming player. Now they wish they had him back.

Hey hey now, be nice. Matt Bullard is one of the top 50 players of all time. Okay, not quite, but you can't lump him into that category.

    o3gs or anyone else,

Is there anywhere we can see videos of Malick playing in the German League or for Senegal? Anything at all we can watch on video?

I am certain of one thing - Malick is surefire the next coming of Badiane.

Anyone here wanna bet he makes the roster latest next season and eventually gets to contribute for the Rox in a significant way (as significant as Cato's 2003/2004 stats line with even more heart and passion) within 3-4 years.
