Lebron with 24 seconds, and decent offensive players

Kobe with 5 seconds, or any uncertainty about teammates' ability to score on "easy" opportunities.

Jason Kidd if you have to take it full court

Still, I think I agree with Clutch. If I had to choose one player without knowledge of who else is on my team or the opposing team, I'd take my chances with Kobe. Lebron/Melo/Rose/anyone else aren't making that mid-range jumper with 2 people in their face nearly as often as him.

If Larry Bird isn't available, and as much as I hate to say it, Kobe.

The GMs have picked the same guy for 8, 9 years in a row when answering this question in the survey. It's not even a contest.

    Frankly,

    I'd take any of these
Durant, Dirk, Kobe, Lebron, Monta, Gay, Pierce, Ray, Love, Griffin and yes, Brooks. Any of them for the last second shot.

I know, right? LBJ gets hammered for his un-clutch plays; what a silly statement.

I'd have to go with Kobe or Pierce. Guys like Durant are good, but don't have the same track record as those two.

jopat-- the point was to select one. :)

If you want one, then I'll take...................McGrady. He can get it off against anybody.

What a surprise that Lebron gets criticized for poor performances against the Celtics in last year's playoffs, but Rosen seems to have forgotten about last season by the time he's calling Kobe the best player in clutch situations. I guess Game 7 of the NBA Finals is no longer a clutch situation.

lol what a garbage list. So he list Lebron for his Game 5 and 6 performance as being unclutch or whatever but he list Ray Allen on his Raves list even though he was missing most of the Lakers series.
