    Lebron James or Kevin Durant.

Lebron can muscle his way to the basket and at least be sent to the free throw line. Plus, the King has shown he can knock down clutch jumpers as well.

Durant's length and silky jumper make him a better candidate than most, even Kobe!

QFT. He's this generation's Jordan when it comes to being clutch.

    Chuck Hayes.

No one would expect him to be taking the last shot. He could get open. Pass inside. Layup. Game.

Dwayne Wade is the correct answer, and it is who the Heat will be going to in the 4th quarter.

I would go with Lebron, Ray Allen, D-Wade, Paul Pierce, or Kobe. Probably in that order.

assuming you need the player to create his own shot

    Kobe

    then Wade

    then Lebron or Melo

if they don't have to create, you open the door for all kinds of clutch shooters who don't have the height and/or handles and/or strength to be "the guy" you pick

By the rules I set forth, the other 4 positions will be filled in randomly. If you don't think being able to create a shot is a special skill, then I suppose you could trust those random players to do it.

Being able to create a shot is a special skill, but being able to set a good enough screen for a guy like Ray Allen to get an opening is something that you should be able to do with any two decent big men.
