Eh, well I didn't really hate it... it was enjoyable enough simply because it was FF7. Just didn't love it like you did. It was "meh."

Let's just hope what that gamestore owner told me about the PS3 remake is true. That's what I really care about at this point.

I watched about 15 minutes of it last night, and man, this is truly the most gorgeous computer generated animation I have ever seen. Absolutely incredible, amazing eye candy. It remains to be seen if the story can measure up, but wow  .

That's the impression I got from you, but "love it or enjoy it" didn't quite sound right to me. :)

Screw FF7. An FF6 movie needs to be made. Now that was the best RPG.

overall i give it a B. that's if you've played FF7 and know the background story. as a movie by itself...it's a C..C+...average. all i can say is that it's 10000X better than final fantasy: the spirits within. my god did that movie suck

ok I am an idiot. Can someone give me a torrent link to get the right version. Also what are you using to play it. The version I got was a XVid version and it only played about 2 minutes in VLC then it died. It also had some subtitle files with it but I have no clue how to use them.

*Sigh*. You guys are hopeless. :D

    Movie (XviD avi file)

    English Subs (srt file)

A few notes about the above links:
*The movie comes with some subtitle files of its own. Those are Japanese subs, so don't bother messing with them. That's what the separate English Subs download is for.
*For the English Subs to work (.srt file), they have to simply be in the same directory as the .avi file AND HAVE THE SAME NAME. Default is "bien-xvid-ff7," but if you rename them to, say, "Final Fantasy Advent Children.avi" and "Final Fantasy Advent Children.srt," they'll still work fine.

All you need is the .avi file and the .srt file, both with the same name, in the same directory. You can toss everything else.

As far as playing it goes, I play pretty much everything in Media Player Classic... but if you don't already have a good codec pack, just download K-Lite Standard. It includes Media Player Classic, and many other things that will likely let you play just about anything you'll ever want to play.

Me too! But I figured it out when I downloaded the English SRT subtitles then realized it suddenly was working my Power DVD.

Screw the other projects. If they are interfering with a possible FF7 remake, then dump them (unless maybe it's a FFIV or FFVI remake). :)
