Greg smith is very inconsistent because he only played one year of college ball as before that one year in HS. so these early pro years are gonna be very much a growing stage for him

Anderson isn't the 2nd SG on the team, Garcia is with Casspi being the backup SF. But Anderson most certainly could have been backup had we not re-signed Garcia.

If we keep Asik, Beverley, Asik and Garcia is one hell of a second unit.

I have a feeling Brewer wants to play a bigger role than backup Harden. I think a veteran with experience on a elite team would be nice. Hamilton, Billups, Marquis Daniels, Bogans would be nice. Tony Allen probably too expensive.

I would love to bring Delfino back for the low $$$ if we could. That second unit would be nasty!

I'm down for Gary Neal. Though he was explosive in stretches coming off the bench for the Spurs in the finals. Can really get hot from outside the arc and he got range... 3 foot outside the arc.

Brian Cook will bring championships with his ability to cheer from the bench. He was a man before his time when he was previously in Houston. I have yet to see anyone wave a towel, jump off the bench, or cheer as much as he has.

Averaging 7.9 "You got this!!!"s per game and a Bench Player Efficiency Rating (BPER) of 28.34 which broke Brian Cardinals 2009 mark, Cook has what we need for the fourth/It's-not-happening rotation. With a 2.9 towel waves per 3 pointer, he would fit a need that this team is desperately looking for.

Give it a year and they will. Remember it took the Heat a year, then everybody was trying to sign with them for cheap. We get to the finals like they did and watch the red sea open up. Joker will be lined up to join the Rockets.

corey brewer, lamar odom, kenyon martin, anthony morrow, jason maxiell, sam young, roger mason jr, mickael pietrus, Leandro Barbosa, Gary Neal, Chauncey Billups are all guys I think we should be looking at.

    C: Howard/Asik/Smith
    PF: Jones/DMo/Odom
    SF: Parsons/Brewer/Casspi
    SG: Harden/Garcia/Pietrus
    PG: Lin/Beverley/Canaan

I think the Rockets are probably waiting on Brewer right now to make a decision, but should we lose out on him I wouldn't mind seeing Barbosa or Toney Douglas brought back at minimum contracts to add some depth, and maybe a veteran big man like Jermaine O'neal.

As it stands now, it looks pretty obvious as to what our main rotation will be:

    Dwight
    Asik
    Parsons
    Harden
    Lin
    ---
    Garcia
    Beverly
D-mo/Jones/Casspi(one of these will get rotation minutes, with maybe one other guy getting ~10mins a game)
    ---
    Greg Smith
    FA (guard, ex: Barbosa/Douglas)
FA (Jermaine O'neal or other big)

    Canaan and Olbrecht to d-league.
