Terrorists aren't so bad when they are doing your dirty work, but once they turn on you, they can cause problems.
So..how to fight terrorism? Don't sponsor terrorism just because they hate a political ideal that you fear.

I wonder what the ratio of Shiite extremists is comparatively from before the war to after.

Never heard of any terrorist attacks in Iraq till after the war... (We did hear of stuff Saddam as a Tyrant would do, but not of civilian terrorism)
