How long before this happens on the bench during a Rockets' game? Not even sure if the players care or are passionate enough to lose control of their emotions like what you saw in Phoenix tonight.

    Also this

Both said it was a tough love/brotherly fight kind of thing and everyone claims they're really close friends, just got too emotional..so that's the end of it.

Damn, I'm not one thats bothered when players get into shuffles during intense games...but that was ridiculous for hin to do that to his own teanate.

He must have serious attitude problems if he can't control his anger/emotion like that.

We probably could get him for Brewer at this point... But like others not sure if that's worth it.

Like what BballHollic, unless he pulls a Lawson and make the rest of his contract NG, I think he's too much of a risk.

 There're so many team worse then us this is the kind of hyperbole that makes the board so toxic. How many teams are able to keep up with GSW till the end of the game? Yeah, I mean let's get him so he'll get angry at Harden's lack of D and punch him in the face, break his hand and have both him and Harden suspended for two months. Wtf you know people like this put like 2 secs of thought in their posts but if this happened in real life no way would they bring in a loose cannon in their company.

I'm a regular lurker on BSOTS since Dragic days and one user made a post that resonates my exact feelings on that matter. Since I'm not that eloquent in English to explain my views, I will paste his text.

One thing bothers me though...I agree with everyone else that to call this a fight is a big stretch/exaggeration, but Keef should be the LAST person to get mad at someone for not giving a **** in a basketball game. Then again, this is what happens when you empower him as the "leader of the team."

I think the difference between what Markieff did and a 'wake their ass up' shove is that it doesn't seem like Markieff was in control of his emotions. If you're trying to wake someone up by trying to act mad and pissed, everything you do should be deliberate and in control. You're purposely pushing someone's buttons.

From this clip, it just seems like Markeiff is yelling at Goodwin because he is pissed. When Goodwin wasn't responding, Markieff just yells louder, and when Goodwin still isn't responding, Markieff resorts to pushing and shoving. This is not a, 'I'm gonna get in your face and help you grow' shove, this looks like 'i'm pissed and you better listen to me' shove. People can get in other people's faces, but you can't put your hand on another person's throat.

The worst case would be Markieff not realizing that he's out of line and justifies his action by saying that he was just doing the 'brotherly thing' and trying to be a leader. Of course this is just all me guessing and I could be full of ****, but I think the risk is too big for the Rockets to take a chance on Markieff.
