    it's all speculation, BRAH! I'm not saying Utah sucks, but they didn't go through the brutal schedule that UT did, or OU or FLA.....therefore, they have no business in the NC game.

    Why did you quote a post saying exactly what you just said?

    Utah went undefeated and played quality teams. Yes, TCU and BYU are quality teams. Yes, Oregon State and Alabama are quality teams.

    In years past, you could make the argument that undefeated WAC teams such as Boise State or Hawaii didn't deserve to be National Champs. They don't schedule anybody. However, IMO the MWC was the 3rd best conference this year (behind XII and the SEC). Utah went undefeated in this conference. They beat the #2 SEC team.

    Of course people will say they have a right to be #1. Will they be #1?

    No.

    But they deserve to be in the discussion.

    Give Utah a bunch of credit.

    But when bigtexxx attempts to belittle this Texas win, let's take a look at some of Utah's wins...

    @Michigan, 25-23
    v. Oregon State, 31-28
    @New Mexico, 13-10
    v. TCU, 13-10

    4 of their wins came by 3 points or less. Let us recall people like bigtexxx being unimpressed with Texas' 29 point win over UTEP. Hell, I'm not sure the 42 point beating Rice took impressed texxx.

    Sure, Oregon State and TCU are ranked teams -- but Ohio State is better than both of them, and Texas' victory came on a neutral field, while Utah snuck by them at home.

    Meanwhile, they squeak by a 3-9 Michigan team, and a 4-8 New Mexico team. But let's just ignore that.

    The idea that Utah would beat Texas handily is laughable. The ironic thing is, these two teams were supposed to play this year before Utah backed out.

    probably because the AC/DC concert was sold out. That, and I have other kids that are much younger, and we tend to do that whole, archaic, 'family thing'. ;)

    Utah may have played a few good teams, but their overall schedule was still very easy. They never played back-to-back games against winning teams.

    Despite being undefeated, if you take their schedule strength and how they performed in their games into consideration, I don't think they have the full resume to in good faith say they are the #1 team in the nation. They should have the shot to do so on the field though, and that is why CFB needs a playoff.

    haha damn guys you're takin it a bit too seriously, it's all in good fun.. there's no denial that our team sucks a$$ and it doesn't even come close to UT's football team.. that doesn't mean I can't come in and provide some blind Aggie hatred for your and my entertainment.. just take it in good spirits and flame back, and just be thankful that you have amazing lovely refs that always help you guys pull out clutch wins.. and once again, congrats on winning the Tostitos bowl, hopefully the Ninfa's Tex Mex bowl is next for y'all..

    I find it funny that anyone was impressed by one of this year's top rated teams beating the crap out of one of last year's worst rated teams. Are you telling me a lopsided score wasn't expected there? To me, Texas had way more to lose (if that game had ended up being closer) than they had to gain in terms of national respect.

    People aren't really thinking Texas got an unfairly generous spot on that last drive, right? He clearly, if barely, made it.

    First off, I'm not sure "wasn't trying to hide anything" accurately describes a situation in which you tried to pass off a picture of a p*rn chick as your wife.

    Second, you gotta love the "internet superhero" line, and your "internet. serious business." line from the other thread. It's funny coming from a guy who obviously spends way to much time on the internet.

    Third, I'm not sure how it was a "total fail" on my part- I told you I didn't believe you. So I guessed wrong that the pictures of the woman in your photobucket account were of your wife. If you had just proven me wrong then, maybe it would have been a "total fail" for me (since nobody knew where the picture you posted actually came from).

    Instead, you proceeded to totally overreact, revealing that you posted a picture of some p*rn chick and said it was of your wife. By the way, in doing so, you outed yourself as a married guy with daughters who surfs for internet p*rn in his spare time- nice.
