I was just looking at their stats and they are really similar. I feel that Parsons is a better defender but Fields seems to be a little better offensively based on a larger sample size -although Fields did fall off a lot last year. Both are SFs and around the same height. What do you guys think? Try to be unbiased.

They do a great job of being Jeremy's wing man.

Parsons is a better defender and is more athletic.

Fields didn't have the quickness that Chandler has.

Both struggle with the three point shot and free throws although Fields did shoot very well his rookie year and last year may have been abnormal for him.

Same height? Landry Fields is on the short side of 6'7, Parsons is 6'10.

Also, which role player would you rather have guard KD? Exactly.

Fields plenty athletic himself, judging by all the alleys he got from Lin. Parsons just does it himself with the putbacks :)

Fields is a solid player. But I think Parsons is a better player overall and impacts the game much more than Fields. Parsons is longer and more athletic and I think Parsons have that confidence to really improve into a very good well rounded player.

parsons is taller and a much much better defender. landry is a nice player, but his defense leaves much to be desired.

Fields arguably looked better than Parsons in his rookie year. He went through a major sophomore slump resulting from tweaking his shot in the offseason. Hopefully Chandler will keep improving his offensive game. From what I've seen of him I really do like his all around game and he seems to hustle harder than Fields.
