Scola is the kind of guy that can inspire teammates to keep fighting, even when a game seems out of reach. He just doesn't appear to know how to give up. That kind of attitude is rare in the NBA, but hopefully it'll be contagious. By the way, doesn't Kammerichs look like Jon Barry with hair?
Scola showed that if he can't play inside (cause of Howard and Amare) he can make it from the outside. I like it.
He looks much more like him with the 'stache instead of the beard. I honestly thought this guy would be a good shooter just because of the resemblance.
Two reasons for Scola's performance in 1st half: The first one is that Scola is USA's defense focus. Another reason is probably that he is too tired to push those defenders away in low post. He played 40 min yesterday.
While I didn't like his comment either, this is unfortunately a very American response. NOTE: Not everybody on the BBS is American.
To be fair to the Argentinians, their main guys had to play a lot more minutes a lot harder than the Americans do... the Americans just got a ton more depth on top of the obvious talent/atheleticism advantage. Yesterday was the game that really mattered for the Argentinians.
