Jesus Christ... do they EVER get a day off in these tournaments... no wonder players get injured so often.
yeah its a total grind, 10 games 12 days or something. its worse on the other teams as at least the US team is so laden with talent they can afford to play kobe, kidd, carmello etc for 20 mins a game. other teams cant do the same with their stars
hey guys if anyone can come up with a broadcast schedule for this round, would you mind posting it? all my guide says is "Teams TBA" and I cant set my dvr for everything lebeled FIBA basketball. headsup for those that havent seen it yet, Argentina plays the US Thursday. its on ESPN2HD at 11pm (near as I can tell)
This is the schedule on FIBA America website: http://www.fibaamerica.com/torneos_cal_us.asp?t=JMXULHQIUS The time should be Las Vegas local time.

The game was over at halftime, so the coach decided to give some rest to the starters. Scola's numbers: 10 points (5/10 2pts) and 5 rebounds in 20 minutes.
I was talking about international players... they need time to adapt. To the rules, the refereeing, the style of game, the teammates, the country. Stajakovic, Ginobili, Nocioni and many other foreign players... needed time to adjust. Playing more minutes will sure make that process faster.
