Trade with Vancouver again? "The Bear Necessities" already have the #2 pick In Hand I dont think they want to whisk it away for more of Houston's younger players

One thing is for sure, this IS going to be an interesting draft.

Will the Nets take Kenyon Martin? They have Jayson Williams coming back, but his health will be an issue. They need a center more than any other position, so would they possibly take Mihm with the #1? Also, they have already had at least one offer, obviously from Orlando, the #5 and the #10 pick. I think we can gauge from this what it will take for the Rockets to move up.

Vancouver with the #2 pick are in an awkward spot. They have Abdur-Rahim at the SF and Big Country in the middle. If they take Swift, will they keep Shareef and play Swift at the PF or possibly trade one of them? Also, can they unload Reeves and his contract if they take Mihm or would they keep Reeves as a quality backup? Our northern neighbors have some serious decisions to make.

Then there are the ever-unlucky Clips. You just can't help but feel sorry for these guys. They suck all year long, end up with the worst record and still don't get the #1 pick. Oh well, as I heard someone here on the BBS put it, at least they'll have their choices narrowed by the time they get to pick, but will they keep their slot? They have the SF position locked up for a few years(til Odom's contract is up!) and they still have a good center. They could either trade their pick for some players that are actually signed for a few years thus stabilizing their lineup for at least the near future or make a choice and have someone of value to trade. Maybe it's still not such an easy path for the other L.A. team.
