First Ghostbusters, now Ocean's Eleven. http://blogs.indiewire.com/thompson...leven-remake-starring-sandra-bullock-20151030 http://www.indiewire.com/article/je...cebook&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=IW_post
I'd rather watch the ghostbusters one. I'm used to seeing a woman get facial slime onscreen. I'm kidding CF, I love all people of earth!
I don't have a problem with an all female caper movie, but do have issues with some sort of Ocean's spin-off. And then you bring in Bullock and J Law to be Clooney and Pitt?! Nope not buying that.
That reminds me. I would really love an Ocean's Fourteen. I don't care if it has more females in it, just don't make a gimmicky all female cast.
The remakes were a weird PR trick to frame Clooney, Pitt and Damon as the new brat pack. That worked perfectly, but it didn't make the films any less derivative or impervious to a reboot. Hasn't Vegas kind of been run into the ground with all the Hangover/Hall Pass nonsense?
This is so lazy. These studios can't come up with an original idea for a female cast so they refurbish some old tired ass franchise. and for the MRA's, 99% of studio execs are men. Especially at Warner Bros. There's no secret lady mafia green lighting this nonsense. It's a bunch of dude bros who see $$$ signs in casting Sandy & JLaw in a franchise that was mildly successful and that they completely own the rights to.

I don't see why it's feminist just because it has an all women's cast. The movies were pretty crappy, at least they're trying something new
