Nah, they got JR picking up the slack. One thing I noticed also, chandler seems out of offense now.

That's pretty big. Lin-Chandler high pick-n-roll was a big part of the offense last year. I thought Felton would would fit into that role, but they're not using it much if at all.

I bet Tyson's missing Lin now. Only had 2 fgs last night, one of them off a lucky offensive rebound. No easy buckets for him. I thought the veteran point guards could run a better offense than Jeremy Lin?

Even 58% is too low for someone whose offensive game consists only of dunks.

Lets think of the all the bad contracts that we done in the past, this is one of the worst. I think we all agree that Jeremy is decent PG, not a starter but a decent PG. His defense is his biggest liability and we've seen that weakness amplified during the preseason against OKC and Spurs. We basically have the worst defensive back court in the league when you add Martin in the mix.

Can't go left, can't defense, turnover machine. Come on, we need something new to bash Lin.

Oh no, here it comes. So he is a decent backup? and since you brought up preseason, I thought he was leading in stealing. I never thought stealing was part of offensive move.

Seriously, 2 preseason games are too small of a sample size.

Ummm. Is it that you didn't watch any of the games or do you not know anything about basketball. I'm seriously curious. Did you hear your opinions on the radio, on TV, is that what your friends say, what is it? So on his HORRIBLE performances in the preseason so far, he's led the league in steals per game at #1 and is #4 in the league in assists per game with a 3-1 W-L record (the loss bring against the SA Spurs and Tony Parker, btw). Jeez, what kind of bar are we going to set for him to get some props around here, 20 and 10 with no turnovers?! But that will probably be just a fluke though, right? It must be Asik or Kmart or Parsons literally carrying his should-be-bench riding butt, right?! It's not like he's led his high school team to a State championship, or won the California State hs player of the year award, or led his college team to their best record in history, but of course he didn't do that in the NBA did he? He didn't break records like in high school and just like in college and its not like he led his team to a winning record once again or anything like that, right?!
I swear, it's the ignorance that kills me, not the malice. Smh

    Response

Many players led their HS and college teams, so that doesn't necessarily translate to NBA success. I admit JLin is a decent to good PG (top 15 PGs in NBA), but let's wait until one full season before declaring him an All-star caliber player.

Calm down, I said the dude is a decent backup PG, he's not an NBA starter and definitely not worth $8 mln a year. Let's be honest, his ability to bring the diverse crowd to the Toyota Center and impact on the Asian culture is where the value comes in.

I like Jeremy as person and we already know he thinks the game at a high level. However, his talent level in comparison to the Western Conf PG's doesn't compare to Nash, Westbrook, Parker, Dragic (our former lefty), Chris Paul, Conley, etc...

We overpaid and face the music. Plus teams have video tape and we all know what happens in the NBA, teams start making you do something different.

So someone please tell me what $8 mln is worth as far as stats, I think 15 pts 6.5 assist, 3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 3 turnovers per game is reasonable.

WORD! That would be a good 30 for 30, dudes who did everything in high school and college and zero in the pros and got paid - staring Jeremy Lin, the one hit wonder!

Okay, so you're recommending we start Toney Douglas and make Lin the backup?
