Astros No. 1 starter Scott Feldman, who is 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA, is going on the 15-day disabled list with right biceps tendinitis. Righthander Collin McHugh will be called up from Class AAA Oklahoma City to take Feldman’s spot in the rotation and start Tuesday night against Seattle.

“We’re going to put Scott Feldman on the disabled list with right bicep tendinitis,” Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow said. “Colin McHugh will make the start tomorrow for us against Seattle. It was a close call whether or not to put him on the DL. We felt like it was a right thing to do.”

Luhnow is optimistic that Feldman will be healthy enough to return from the DL as soon as he’s eligible.

“Not overly concerned about it,” Luhnow said. “Obviously any injury is concerning, but we believe this is something that with a few days of rest and rehab he’ll be back in action soon.”

I think 9 years between instances isn't something we should be concerned with.

Well, his arm is also 9 years older now... with many more pitches thrown.

Don't think you can automatically assume it will "bounce back" as fast as it did the time before. Its an "overuse" injury, and will resolve with rest... but we all know that younger arms heal faster.
