In fact Morey didnt even bring Yao or Tmac here. Our last great stars who have declined and so has the team since he took the GM. Its not about who i would have brung because its not my job. Its about who Morey would bring here and how. Up until this point TMac and Yao his high point players while here are from another GM. From that far back we havent had him replace a center and star player or draft another one. Its debatable Artest was a star player.
What great centers did we have an easy chance to get in the draft the last 4 seasons? 07 and 08 we didn't need a center, 09 we traded our pick for Ron Artest, 2010: No amazing center we skipped out on. And remember before this past season we almost got Tyson Chandler but Miami traded Beasley to Minnesota.
Not much defense... And only reason we didn't trade Scola for him was because he probably would've left us in the offseason, and he didn't want to get a physical on his knee. DO you want another Yao Ming?
Drafted? You really want me to bring you the list of guys we could have drafted? That is easily attainable too. We passed on a few guys and took shorter players in the lower part of the draft. Centers who turned out good. I dont need to research because we discuss alot of these guys sometimes daily. Why dont you bring me a list to show we couldnt have.
Marcin Gortat 2nd round Omer Asik 2nd round Andre Blatche 2nd round Deandre Jordan 2nd round Mark Gasol 2nd round Why the heck wouldnt we have taken one of these guys might be the easier question. Alot of teams didnt and alot of teams like us dont have good centers. We had a need with a suspect Yao. We never did. This is alot of guys we could have taken. This is just a quick look at 7ft guys or close who we could have taken for size but didnt. I havent really been sent on a fool errend to go search all day becaus eit came so quick.
Stop asking for it when you know the answer already in your minds. Morey did not do agood job so far and if he fails to do again? I will be really ticked again. Like every fan should for two goals he has not met for years. Mediocre effort or he is ignoring height and defense. Also not getting that star at the same time.

Same thing for Blatche Gasol: We didn't need an effin center like I already explained with a healthy yao and deke back then..... DeAndre Jordan: Aaron Brooks was way better than DeAndre, and we didn't need a center back in 08 Omer Asik:Same effin things like the other years....
DeAndre and Omer Asik were huge prospects, and Aaron Brooks definitely paid off...... So Morey sucks eh?
I think that Morey realizes that this is a weaker draft. I figure he'll swing a trade for an accomplished player and use the second round to draft a prospect.

Tyson Chandler in trade. Could have traded Yao and our pick to Bulls and picked Joakim Noah. Could have thought outside the box and gotten our center to replace a broken down one by trading the one who is breaking down for a draft pick. Look when you are year two of Chuck Hayes and going into year 3? 6ft 6 starting center? I call BS with he had his hands tied or dog ate his homework to turn into other GM while he was walking to school and kidnapped by Aliens who turned into ninjas. Excuses. I dont care after this year unless it says mission accomplished on one goal if not both. Star or center. I really dont care. I am gonna join the fire Morey crowd real soon. Let it spread to the Chronicle and ESPN until it happens to spread to Les Alexanders ears if Morey doesnt start to get some things done pretty soon. Thats just me.
