When I first heard the story, it crossed my mind that maybe Carl was up to no good in the middle of the night-something to do with drugs maybe. It was nice to hear that the police don't apparently suspect him of anything. So, how can Feigen chastise a sportscaster for asking about this angle? If it occurred to me, I'm sure that many other people are wondering the same thing. A radio broadcaster would be remiss if he didn't ask about the possibility, and if Carl was completely innocent, then everyone will know.
You dont go down that road until the case reports take you down that road. It really is that simple. Jumping to conclusions is just bad journalism.
