Some teams do that blatantly. It is comical to see Rafer open by 15 feet on the perimeter. Rarely does Rafer make them pay so we end up player 4 or 5 (or 3 on 5 when Hayes is in the game).
As long as Rafer is on the court, he is still wide open and cannot make a shot. Thus, Yao or Tmac is still doubled. I feel in recent games, Yao and Tmac both want to play with the 2nd unit. That is probably the reason.
Teams leave Jason Kidd open too. Does that mean he sucks and is the worst starting PG in the NBA. PS: I actually think he may be.
lol true that! but teh thing is... u just cant find any1 replace him. well, at least we didnt pay ****loads of $$ on him anyway. TRADE YAO FOR A DECENT PG+ A 7' C plz.
Yup... Rafer has blackmailed Morey so he is forced to keep him! Did you know there are other stats Morey uses besides shooting %? He doesn't have to read the BBS to know that the fans hate Rafer. He probably reads the comments on his blog (considering he responds to them), along with comments on the recaps he writes. Haha... ur funny.
I didn't know DPballer is Morey!!! Mr. Morey, why don't you directly tell us what other stats you use to evaluate Rafer?
there's a passer, facilitator, scorer, all sitting on our very own bench. is it such crazy idea to start brent barry at point? i bet barry would ROCK at point... EDIT: all i'm saying is that it wouldn't hurt to try. adelman should try the lineup a few times a see the results he gets.
