Everything points to hiring Silas... so if we choose MDA it will feel like a major let down.

Les... for the love of god... bring Silas in.

Players/coaches love the man. This should be a no-brainer.

Are the "Rockets Insider" tweets from a Rockets leak or something?

Sources on Day 1: Mauri moving fast to try and acquire Vogel
Sources on Day 2: JVG is the leading candidate and it's almost a done deal
Sources on Day 3: MDA is the front runner for the Rockets head coaching job
Sources on Day 4: Silas and Hollins have emerged as strong candidates

The things is, Morey has to be ready to connect himself to Silas if Les really wants MDA.

I think Les will eventually give into Morey and hire Silas but Les will hold this decision over Morey like no other. If Silas flames out, Morey is sure to follow.

Is Morey confident enough in Silas to tie his job to him?

I think its a risk worth taking, especially if Silas is as good and respected around the league as mentioned. And if Les is really that idiotic to think MDA is the answer then why work here anyway?

He either should put his foot down or Silas or re-sign honestly. Who wants to work for an owner that doesn't let the GM make the big decisions?

Well since you're already convinced, I won't leave this video of Silas talking about transition defense, which since you're so informed, I'm sure you know that transition d is no issue at all in the Rockets currently:p

I'll take Silas any day of the week over Dantoni.

...this guy sounds legit - like the type of guy who players want to play for. We haven't had a guy like that since Rudy T.

Yeah, but if Pringles doesn't have a fast start, he's going to blame Morey for the roster and Morey is out anyway. Morey has to have a winner either way or he's toast at this point.

JVG was never my preferred choice, but he's looking better by the day.

    I'll take Silas and Hollins.

Translation: Morey is desperately trying to talk Les into hiring a guy that Les has probably never heard of after Les said he wants Pringles.

Get Silas and Hollins! That way we possibly get to keep Dwight.
    We need Dwight!

The quote from Steph Curry is cool and all, but how come he's never been considered for a HC position in 15 years as an assistant? Is he known for orchestrating Chrlotte's defense? Is he a player's coach? A disciplinarian? Or is his main strength that he's not Mike Dantoni ?
