Why the hand wringing over a head coach/staff pairing being a bad thing? Golden State, Boston, and OKC all did the same thing for Kerr, Stevens, and Donovan respectively. Practically every head coach of a successful team in the league has a stellar staff backing them up, even Pop in San Antonio.

He isn't Pringles. That's all I care about! Plus he isn't a retread. Anyone but ****ing Pringles!

Seems like Silas is and impressive guy... I know nothing about him! Heard Tom Habastro (sorry for the spelling) saying that D'antoni is better defensively than people think. He thought it'd be a great hire. Idk...

Maybe there is reason for optimism either way...

Stephen A. would approve of the Stephen S. hire. :p

I will mention as a caveat that when McHale interviewed, Morey said he "knocked every answer out of the park" or something like that.

But I do agree with your post 100%, so I'm gonna rep your ass.

Les Alexander, PLEASE hire this guy and not D'Antoni. PLEEEEEEEEEEASE. No to 65 year-old retread offense-only dip****s. We could do worse than Pringles, but much better to take a chance on Silas. The players love him, right?

IIRC, Hollins is left handed, like Harden, D-Mo, Beasley, Smoove, & TJ. make it so.

    time to bring back Papalickawow?

McHale is a good talker, but a walker? Naw, he walks with a limp..Silas alone is cool, but paired with Hollins, I'll take it!!

Harden most likely only lefty that will remain. Maybe Beasley off the bench. The rest are good as gone

    So, there is still hope.

Not scooping up JVG, is still brutal ......Les.

That said, I could get behind Paul's son, and Hollins.

PERHAPS, some VERY positive implications with a move like this.

Please god let this happen! This is our only sliver of hope. Silas & Hollins pairing would be a HUGE upgrade over Pringles, we need a change in culture. I doubt Pringles can inspire anyone let alone a superstar player like Harden. Silas/Hollins will bring toughness, defense, and accountability. Silas is also a very intelligent guy, i'm sure he will adjust our offense and at the same time would address this teams biggest decencies.. defense

Man, I'm old. I remember Stephen Silas's dad Paul Silas playing in the NBA. Tough, undersized PF. Now in his 70s, probably shrunk from 6'7" down to 6'4," and can probably still out-rebound TJones.
