I would laugh so hard at Silas being hired. Rookie head coach with no real playing pedigree taking over a team with chemistry issues... lol good luck buddy.

How many "finalists" do we plan to have? 3-4?
I am already tired of all this circus. And there isn't even a single choice I can get excited about from those reported.

This 1000x the question is who does harden want?

Thats question you quoted is clearly posed by someone who doesn't watch the Rockets play. If the Rockets concern is just Harden's defense they aren't doing there jobs. They need a coach with a system and better talent that's their job this offseason. If we get talent and Harden gets reduced minutes but refuses to play right then he can go too. If Im them Im not worried about Harden, Im worried about how we can help him.

Excellent post! That's probably what the organization is telling Harden: hold tight, help is on the way. But I guess I'm skeptical they will actually right the ship without having to go into full rebuild mode; which Les has never been willing to do.

The rockets have already said harden will be involved in the hiring process.

    This transgression pleases me.

New coach + Hollins' authoritative presence

If this were true, that would mean that this organization is completely ass backwsrds.

I pray that Harden is racist and would prefer a black coach over the white coach (D'antoni(

Comprehension is key here. Having him feel involved and respecting your best players' opinion is different than "He gets to choose who he wants". Harden is not Dwight he's not going to pout and quit if he doesn't get his way, grown men rarely act that way. That's why Dwight is such an enigma.

Better than Pringles. Definitely on board with Silas.

Silas with Hollins sounds better than Pringles and a defensive assistant, but I believe that JVG and Messina would have been a very good combination.

Exactly. Some people act like harden is running the organization. He does have some say but he's not calling the shots.

Rockets are still the laughingstock of the league with this speed dating approach to finding a coach

Yeah. When it was indicated that Les would have a much more hands-on approach to hiring a coach, who knew it would create such a mess?

Les jumped too quick in keeping McClapClap. Threw away $12,000,000. Now he's interviewing everyone who ever sat aside a basketball court in a suit.

    Stultifying at best.
